We first reached out to their representative (Ryan ****** due to changes to the driveway paving since it was not in accordance with approved plan by Orange County Building Safety. We offered to pay for the additional work that was on the approved plan. At the time, we also expressed in having a in-ground pool built. Ryan was responsive when speaking on the phone, but there has been no follow up and our written emails with Ryan have been non-responsive. After not hearing from Ryan from an email request sent on 2.1.2022, I reached, out the Chief Building Inspector at OCDBS and received a phone call soon after. Mr. ********* stated since the walkway paving was not in accordance with the approved plan, OCDBS could issue a notice for a redo. However, we are trying to avoid the removal of the current walkway and re-landscaping of the front yard if OVDBS issue a notice. I believe it's in our mutual interest to have the original walkway between the Garage and front porch added so we are not blocked from garage entry to the front door. We even offered to pay for it and yet, this particular subcontractor is non-responsive to our multiple requests. I can only surmise this particular vendor has so much business that they no longer consider good customer services could go a long way. Once I have resolved the situation of poor customer services, I will provide an honest review on their website. In the mean time, we do not hear from the ownership or management within a reasonable time frame to resolve the lack of access to our front porch as the original plan called out, we will request OCDBS to require American Outdoor Living return and repair the paving in accordance with the approved plan signed off by OCDBS.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/22) */ We installed the driveway and walk through a contract with a Home Builder and not directly with the consumer. We contacted the consumer today and have resolved the issue. Consumer Response /* (2000, 7, 2022/03/04) */ (The consumer indicated he/she ACCEPTED the response from the business.) The Owner/Management contacted me and as promised, made good on their work and completed the additional walkway. We are quite happy with the work and am satisfied with the resolution. Thank you,
