Hello, This email for Pave-A-Patch is to show their work and craftsmanship and to show how well their projects turn out. I have a Wife with disabilities and she uses a wheelchair and walkers from time to time. In front of our home we had a lot of mud and grass areas that made using a wheelchair almost impossible. Rebecca (Wife) found PAVE-A-PATCH online, they came out, accessed the area and gave us a quote which we agreed on. 3 days later we had a walkway that could be used for a wheelchair. We even hired them again a few months later to do the other side of the garage driveway. I would hire them again for future projects. Victor ***** Home Owner

I originally requested a quote from PaveAPatch for pouring a 11' x 17' concrete slab for a wooden shed to be placed on it that included: removing dirt, wooden framing, leveling framework, mixing concrete, pouring concrete, leveling and smoothing concrete surface. I was contacted by Jake (owner) who stated that he could do the job for $2,050. I excepted his quote and the job was to start at 8:00 am on 12/14/21. However, I was called by Jake and informed that he would be delayed and he would be here at 10:30 am. Upon his arrival he only had shovels for digging out the area for the slab. He and another employee than stated that they had to go to home depot to pick-up concrete and the wood for framing. Two hours later they returned with bags of concrete and the wood for framing and a gasoline powered concrete mixer. Four hours later Jake said he has to return to home depot for more bags of concrete and left his worker to continue building the framework. Two hours later Jake returned with more concrete bags and helped to finish the framing. They left the worksite at 6:15 pm stating they would return at 8:00 am on 12/15/21. The next day they returned at 9:10 am and I informed them that the framing size was wrong and off measurement by 2 inches and unlevel in some sections. After an hour the framing/leveling was fixed. Concrete was mixed and pouring began. Concrete was spread by shovel. At a point the concrete on-site was recognized as not adequate so Jake again stated he had to return to home-depot and purchase more bags of concrete, he left his employee on-site to keep spraying water on the poured concrete to keep it wet. Two hours later he returned and more concrete was mixed and poured. It was then 8:20 pm and dark. They had to use their pick-up truck for lighting up the area. At this point the concrete had been ready for troweling. However, the 36" x 5" trowel had a broken handle so a hand help trowel was used but the center of the concrete concrete slab could not be reached by hand so stone was left showing on the surface of the concrete. Also noted was that Jake drove his truck 40 feet away from the work area and drove it over newly landscaped and newly seeded grass leaving tire groves damaging the new grass growth. Summary: This company and ownership is extremely unorganized, and unprepared and job was not planned out correctly... This company has failed to demonstrate professional knowledge or planning to ensure customer satisfaction...
