I have been waiting for a claim check to arrive for a military move done in Sep 2021. It is now Feb 2023 and I still have not received the check. The check was part of a claim related to a military move from Colorado to Texas. During the move they damaged items, lost several screws to furniture, and mold grew on books. Additionally they damaged my washer to where it is fairly difficult to operate, ultimately resulting in the breakdown of the washer. The company only accepted a partial amount and stated they would issue payment. Due to several issues at the time and having to go back and forth I accepted the partial amount as I did not wish to have to go through the headache. I never received the check so I have been consistently emailing them where they give excuse after excuse. It is now Feb 2023 where they last informed me to allow time for it to ship due to the holidays. I just sent an email and am awaiting another reply/excuse.Business response

******* *** ****** ***., its parent, affiliates, and subsidiaries, including Suddath Relocation Systems of Orlando, Inc. (collectively, “Suddath”) is in receipt of the Complaint. Suddath greatly appreciates that ***** took time to share his experience with the Better Business Bureau (“BBB”). Suddath takes all feedback seriously and constantly evaluates how it can deliver a superior customer service experience. Accordingly, and after looking into the Complaint, Suddath tenders this response to the Complaint.Suddath provided and/or facilitated moving, transportation, storage, move management, and/or related services for ***** in connection with his relocation from Colorado to Texas. ***** alleges that Suddath lost or damaged certain of his household goods during the course of the relocation to Texas. ***** filed a claim with Suddath looking to receive compensation for the goods he contended were lost or damaged (“Claim”).
The Claim was settled on September 2, 2022, and a check was posted, though never received by *****. Accordingly, Suddath reissued a check on December 7, 2022. That check also failed to reach *****. Due to the checks not reaching *****, Suddath agreed with ***** on February 7, 2023, to stop the checks and remit payment to ***** electronically via ACH. Payment was duly processed on February 8, 2023, yielding the desired outcome set forth by ***** in the Complaint.Suddath seeks to provide superior customer service and hopes this response is helpful to the BBB and *****. Should the BBB need additional information from Suddath, please contact Suddath’s Legal Department.
