My son is required to take a course before getting his license. The site stated that once completed it would take 1 to 2 business days to have certification available to download. After many online chats and emails and a week later the certificate is still unable to download through his profile page. Their system is flawed and they are doing nothing to correct it. Do not waste your money with this company please. They do not do refunds and are nothing more than pencil pushers sitting behind a computer and doing nothing to help customers that have already paid. The payment processes fast almost immediately and once they have that it becomes a back burner issue for them and they could care less.American Safety Council, Inc. Response

My daughter completed her online safety course for her learners permit and we were able to get her certificate downloaded Earlier this year. She was ready to take her online. Exam registered paid the fee however never received an email Receipt and unable to download the exam. Their registration fee has gone through my checking account though immediately Tried to do online chat they said they could not help me and to send an email which I have done I would just like to have a refundAmerican Safety Council, Inc. We are so sorry to hear about the issues you have experienced when trying to complete the permit exam. The permit exam is provided online, and is not downloadable, so you would have needed to just log into the account with the username and password you chose during the registration process and begin there. I would be more than happy to assist you further. I was able to locate an account under the email address ************************ and I see that the only exam purchased in 2024 was for the "Traffic Law and ************************* (TLSAE) Course" on 12/2/2024 and completed on 4/14/2024. I am not showing any Fl learners permit exam purchased. Do you have the charge showing in a bank statement and the name of the company that took these funds out? We are not the only online provided that offers this course online, so it may be through a different company. I'm happy to do what I can to further assist!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. This company failed to report my continuing education credit course to the board of cosmetology, causing my license to almost expire until I seen that it had not been reported within the timeframe. The company refused to give me a refund after admitting that they were experiencing reporting issues. I have a complete email thread proving everything. I had to purchase and complete another course Through a completely different company just to avoid my license expiring in receiving penalties. I 100% do not recommend this company at allAmerican Safety Council, Inc. Response

At the time of your course completion, Florida Cosmetology was experiencing widespread technical difficulties with their reporting platform, affecting credit submissions across providers. Their IT team is actively working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, they have advised students to fax their certificates directly to ************ for manual entry into their system.

The other company had no issues whatsoever reporting my credits and it was reported in less than 24 hours. Your company never reported at all and I patiently waited the 30 days that your website says to wait. After I reached out on the 31st day, your response and communication was snippy and choppy. It was like pulling teeth. I shouldve read your reviews on the BBB before using your company.Review from Thomas G

They took my $50 and refused to refund my money, claiming some obscure notice on their website they won't refund money if you accidentally register as an under-18 driver. We apologize for the frustration you've experienced regarding your registration. We understand how disappointing it can be to encounter an unexpected issue, and we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns.
We would like to clarify that our website clearly states the requirement to be 18 years or older to complete the registration for the course. This requirement is displayed multiple times during the registration process, including in a pop-up message that you must acknowledge before proceeding. Additionally, it is stated in the terms and conditions, as well as on the course information page. In order to complete the registration, you would have had to affirm your eligibility and confirm your date of birth.
That said, we want to resolve this situation in a satisfactory manner. As a one-time courtesy, we will process a refund to de-escalate the matter. However, please note that we did provide multiple opportunities for you to review and acknowledge the age requirement prior to purchasing the course.

Absolutely horrible experience with this course provider. I purchased the 32 hour parent taught driver education program. The platform makes you wait a certain amount of time before you can move on to the next module. Ok, that sounds reasonable. However, a 32 hour online course will take you 80 + hours to complete!! Several modules with less than 5 slides require you to wait on the last screen for a full 3-5 HOURS before you can move onto the next module. When I contacted customer ********************** to inquire about this, they blamed me first saying it was because I was accumulating additional time that I wasn't. Then they told me it was because I had skipped modules, which is an out right falsehood because you CAN'T move forward, let alone skip a module until the timer runs out. Finally, the resolution I was offered consisted of "We are very sorry for the frustration this has caused". I should also mention that you can't just let the timer run out when you have 2 slides and 5 hours to wait because it TIMES out! I was checking the computer every 30 minutes to make sure precious minutes of my wasted time were still being logged. When I told the lady at the *** we had purchased this course she looked at me and said "I never recommend this provider. I haven't met anyone that hasn't had difficulty with the course or their customer **********************". Then she said "it's all over the place, and very difficult to work with". If only I had known how bad it really is. I would have paid the fee 3 times over to another provider to avoid this nightmare.American Safety Council, Inc. Response

Do NOT use this company to complete your permit testing. We've wasted countless hours at the *** and trying to reach customer support for a resolution as they did NOT send the automatic results the *** and it has been well over the 7-10 business days.American Safety Council, Inc. Response

They are the worst company for communicaton. I completed the course and received my certificate but when i went to take permit test it just said that i passed. No proof that i passed. THe chat supposedly never works.American Safety Council, Inc. Response

Were glad to hear that you successfully completed the course. However, we want to clarify that the permit exam does not generate a completion certificate because it is completed directly on the Florida *** website. Once the exam is submitted, we do not receive any information regarding the results.
According to our records, it appears the course itself was not completed, as we do not have a graduation date on file. If you are certain that youve completed and passed the exam, the *** should have those results reflected in their system. We recommend checking with your local *** to verify your exam status.

I used the American Safety Council for a copy of my driving record. This company is on the Florida Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles (FLHSMV) preferred list of record providers. I read the fine print and it does say that it doesn't provide the name of the person on the driving record. It only provides the license number. I figured that is how it done for security purpose. I tried to use this document that I paid $29.99 for and it was not accepted as a legit driving record by the State of Maryland. I had to make a new appointment for a different day. This is a major inconvenience for people who work and have to take time off work to deal with stuff like this.Of course they wouldn't provide a refund back to ******. I am positive they are profiting from innocent people while providing useless services. I would classify this as a SCAM. The State of Florida should not use this company.I managed to go directly to the Clerk of Courts and got the same document with my name on it for $10.00. Buyers BewareAmerican Safety Council, Inc.
