ACM was contracted for raccoon removal from the attic on 03/17/23. The cost was $820. The first payment made was $410 to start the job. I subsequently added Bio Enzymes Spray for an additional $600, which brought the total bill to $1420. Thus, the remaining balance to be paid was $1010. The technician applied the spray deterrent on Day 1. By Day 5, we were scheduled to complete the job when unfortunately, an incident had occurred on 03/22/23. Based on the technician's statement to me, when he was finishing the job in the attic, he inadvertently came into contact with the pipe line, breaking the pipe which triggered the sprinkler system and flooded the attic. This lead to the collapse of the attic floor which resulted in all debris falling into the two rooms below. The technician attempted to stop the water flow, but it wasn't until the fire department had arrived that they were able to shut the water off. But the damage had already been done. I tried to obtain the insurance information from ACM, but was told by the technician that the information was not available and that the owner was the only person who can help me. At that time, the owner, Russ, was out of the country on vacation. I was then told that I needed to wait for him until he returned from his trip, which was that following Monday on 03/27/23...FIVE (5) days to wait! Which is an absurd way to run a business! Now six weeks later to this day, Russ has NOT reached out to me nor has he even returned any phone calls from my insurance company and the adjuster. We have not been successful in obtaining ACM's insurance information since they continue to not respond and return calls. Russ/ACM should have done the right thing from the very beginning. PERIOD!
