I am aging out of my fathers insurance so I have been looking for a new insurance and Southern Health Insurance made it so so easy! I spoke to someone name **** ************ and he made the whole process incredibly smooth and easy to understand and helped me pick the best plan for myself that works best with my financial situation. He was super nice and understanding and very knowledgeable on everything he was saying to me and helping me figure out. If you're looking for a place that helps and knows what they're talking about, this is definitely the insurance place to go to. So thank you to **** for helping me and being patient and understanding.

Southern Health Insurance made my Insurance process for myself and my family incredibly smooth. They explained that my dental vision and hearing benefits were a discount program but held no waiting period as major dental does, then my agent *****, provided me with every detail about the Cigna plan I was purchasing. They were all so helpful and the girls in customer service really know how to make you feel like family. I would HIGHLY recommend Southern Health Insurance to all of my friends and family!Thank you guys for all that you do!

I am very disappointed in their customer service. I was ending my employment at the end of September and that included my health insurance. I called in August to set up my new health insurance to begin Oct 1. I was set up with this health insurance based on my income as I thought I qualified for a discount. It turns out I am making too much money to qualify for this insurance discount so I set up insurance with a different company. My southern health insurance was not scheduled to go into effect until Oct 1 when my plan from my previous employer expired. I called a month ago (beginning of September) to cancel my plan and I was told I had to call regence directly to cancel with them and receive a refund. I did that immediately (in September). More recently I received a voicemail and physical mail stating that regence is telling me they were not able to issue a refund because they did not receive a termination letter.Meanwhile, I am told I am not allowed to get a refund from southern health insurance because their plan which was set up back in August but not scheduled to go into effect until Oct 1 when my old plan ended, surpassed 30 days. You have a 30 day first look but I didn't even use the plan or look at it because it wasn't meant to go into effect until October.The original email I received after initially buying in to the southern health plan had the wrong effective date of August 6th, I had to call after receiving that email stating that the effective date was incorrect. The plan is not supposed to go into effect until Oct ******* is now October 1 and instead of terminating the plan with regence which should have happened weeks ago, it is now canceling an active plan and I have to wait another 30 days for it to process.I'm very unhappy with this service with southern health insurance . I was pressured into purchasing it and then they made it difficult to cancel and impossible to get a refund. I feel scammed.

I had an excellent experience with Southern Health Insurance. From the beginning their customer service team was incredibly responsive and attentive, helping me navigate my options with ease. They addressed my questions and concerns, and the process was so smooth. I highly recommend Southern Health Insurance for their great service and dedication to their customers.
