I had a motor put in by this business in Jan 2023. I paid for a Jasper motor but got an Auto Zone motor. When I drove the car for the first time, the check engine light came on. So, I turned around and went back to the shop. They got the check engine light to go off. So, I thought things were fine. Not. I smelled gas while starting the car. I called and was told to bring it back. At this point I didn't trust them anymore. So, four days later I was stranded because my car wouldn't start. I called Pro Automotive and asked to be towed to them. That didn't happen. I was near a Tires Plus so it was towed there. They put a starter in. At that point, I was mortified of the cost of a starter. That was $800.00. I was heading back to MI and on my way, my car was acting up again. It hesitated while trying to take off from a stop. It jumped a misfire. It sucked up a lot of gas as well. To bring you to this point, my car went in the shop here in MI. A total mess was found. There were wires on my manifold, there were melted wires, wires that weren't connected properly, there was no antifreeze put in my radiator, and there was a huge computer cost, $800.00 as well. I recommend that Noone go to Pro Automotive in Orange Lake, FL. They are shady and not worth your time. I couldn't even get a book for my motor. I didn't get a computer itemized work order. It was hand written and very sloppy and hard to read. It wasn't signed by anyone or me for that matter. Shady, unprofessional, shop is very dirty, the yard is a mess. Oh, by the way, I had a mouse in my car after leaving Pro Automotive.
