A/C unit has been leaking for the past 3 months. I am being told by the technician this is normal condensation. No one in my immediate area is having this problem. Each time they send a tech he is putting more and more tape on it to prevent dripping. Obviously this is not working as I have to keep a towel by the unit to prevent a puddle from forming on the garage floor. The wall on which the unit stands is cracked and corroded. I am in the process of selling my house and will never pass inspection if this is not corrected. The last tech that was here took pictures and was supposed to show the owner. Each time I call to speak with the owner I am told he is not available.I just want either a new unit or to fix the corroded wall so I can pass inspection.

      To whom it may concern

We installed this system 3 years ago . We have pictures of the system when we installed it..  In the pictures it shows water damage and a crack in the drywall Stand. When we installed the System we made an attempt to cosmetically make it look better than what she had. We were not paid to redo the stand . Also the system is located inside the garage where it is hot and humid. The Air Handler will have some condensation due to how hot it gets inside of the garage especially when the homeowner opens the garage because the garage is not a conditioned space.

We have come out to service calls because the homeowner calls the office saying it's not working. We get there and the system is working and performing as it should . No water either.

Today before we received this complaint we were at the home and again mastic sealed the stand and is cosmetically pretty again  !

Purchased a new air conditioner unit for my condo in ***************** a little over a year and never received my free inspection of the air conditioner. I called and asked about it and was told they tried to contact me. I never received a call or letter about it. When I called she said sorry its past the time and they did not renew the license to do anything in *********** and they wont compensate me to have it checked by someone else.

      To whom it may concern

The homeowner purchased a new system for his ************* Condo 3/30/2021 . Along with his purchase he was given a 2 year service plan . The 2 year service plan has lapsed 3/30/2023. Due to the small Amount of customers we had we stopped going to St Petersburg and chose not to sign back ** in those counties . The homeowners system has a 10 year parts warranty and he can hire any licensed contractor to work on his system. All of this was explained to the homeowner. The homeowner wanted us to come out today at no charge and we said no we don't service that area anymore. He did not like that answer and made threats of contacting the BBB. In closing we still recomend him to contact a licensed HVAC contractor to keep his system in good health!

I contacted this company to get a twice a year HVAC maintenance since I wanted to change my previous provider. They were at my house around November 2022, did maintenance, told me I should get a new HVAC to save on electricity (!), and offered me 2 years of maintenance for the price of one (4 maintenances). The technician showed me a blank screen on the tablet and told me to sign to accept the offer of 2x1. I never got a copy of the contract! In May my previous HVAC maintenance company called me to schedule an appointment for maintenance since I had already paid for it last year (before contacting Quality). So I scheduled my pre summer maintenance with the other company. When Quality Control called me to schedule my HVAC maintenance I told them it had already been done by my previous company. ****** was not professional at all and told me my contract with them was void. When I asked why would it be void and I never got it, she said I should have read what I signed. I paid for 4 HVAC maintenance appointments. Only one was performed. I didnt buy a warranty and they didnt install a new HVAC in my house. Why would a SERVICE AGREEMENT BE VOIDABLE? Theyre scamming people making them sign a contract for services they never perform and find ridiculous excuses. I emailed them one week ago asking them to send me a copy of the contract and either refund my balance or perform the services they promised, but have not received an answer from them. I dont want their service anymore!

I spoke to The homeowner and we have cleared the air. My office staff did tell the homeowner it is in our contract if another service provider touches the system it will void our agreement.  The homeowner and I spoke and we have continued the service plan and the homeowner is happy. She also amended her complaint on ******* Thank you,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me. They will provide service as agreed.
Their contract was finally emailed to me and it does say that if a different provider services the ***** the contract is BINDING and there are no refunds. Nevertheless they say the contract can be cancelled by them for any reason, which I still dont find appropriate!

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/02/18) */ To Whom it may concern: When we originally were hired to do the job we were told it was going to be an open air café, which did not require a heat load or an engineer to come up with that heat load. After we installed the air conditioner she hired another contractor who applied for something total different then what she told us. What she is requesting from us needs to be done by an engineer. We have tried multiple times to reach out to the contractor she hired with no success. The problem she has is not with us, it is with the contractor who should hire an engineer and get the information she is requesting. We have answered every phone call she has made into the office and explained this to her multiple times. Consumer Response /* (3000, 7, 2022/02/18) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) They did not Pull permits for the work they did which is required by the state of Florida and The New tenant hired the contractor for renovations and when the County Inspector came out he noticed the A/C units and told us they were installed without a permit, which is in Violation of the Florida Building code! The units were installed in July, I called them to notify them of the Code Voilation and they told me it they were not required to pull a permit for Dehumidification purposes and I informed them that they did and olny then did they submit a permit request which was in November 2021. It specifically states in the Quote that all work will be done according to Florida law requirements, Which was Not Done!! Business Response /* (4000, 9, 2022/02/22) */ Our Permit Number is XX XXXXXX XX BE with Sarasota County at address 2650 Stickney Point Road. We have a permit pulled for AC CHANGE OUT FOR DEHUMIDIFICATION PURPOSES. The contractor that you hired has a permit for Commercial Alterations. The mechanical plans on there permit are not the correct required plans. As we stated before We have tried multiple times to reach out to the contractor she hired with no success. The problem she has is not with us, it is with the contractor who should hire an engineer and get the information she is requesting.
