I took my Tesla to Maaco after a minor incident where I backed into something. I was quoted for the repair work, told it was a standard repair. He said he should also do the front skirt which had some minor chips. When I picked up the car, ** the manager had me pay before seeing the car, which I thought was odd. After I paid I went out to see overspray all over my car, even on the side that had no painting done to it. It was as if it wasnt my car. There was still tape on the car, the windows had a bunch of spray on them and so did the glass roof. they painted iver tape marks. The worst of it all is the that car was painted the wrong color. It isnt even close. When I took the car back to complain, ** said that they dropped the ball and this was teh worst paint job that he has seen in his years there. wanted to blend the paint in. But that still leaves me with two colors. I took it to another shop that said the whole car needs to be painted and quoted me $6000 to do it. This, after I was taken for $2500 by Maaco to ruin my Tesla. ** is dishonest and says he wants to fix it but I dont trust his shop. I watched dozens of hours of my car getting oversprayed and treated poorly by his employees. After what I saw and what they did to my car, I cant leave it there ever again. The manager has been hostile towards me and has told me to sue him if I need to. The manager admitted to the mistake but wants to correct it the wrong way and make i t worse. I dont want two colors blended, I wanted one color like I was promised. His proposal to fix the problem is going to make it worse. He is forcing me to spend more money to fix it and sue him. He runs a bad business there. My car is not being driven and hasnt been since. They didnt cover the seats or carpet and allowed the workers to come in and out with paint dust all over so the intrior is all stained white. Seat, glovebox.The overspray and two colors remain on the car. Maaco doesnt seem to care.Business response

Good morning this response in reference to ******************* we worked on. I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. we did work on Mr. ******* *****, the day he pickup the vehicle he might have been in a hurry and did not inspect his tesla. 3 weeks later I receive relayed email from our corporate office about a few issues with Mr. ********* car. I contact Mr. ******* immediately and asked why he didn't contact me with these issue directly so I can correct them, he agreeed to bring the car in so we could see the issues. he did bring his car in to show me the issues on his tesla, I did agree with him on all his concerns and told him that we will correct the issues about the ovespray and the pant match on the car. I even buff out some of the overspray to show him that it would clean up with out any issues so the next step would be for him to drop off his car to address the issues. Mr. ******* did not get back to me and then our next contact by phone was when I received a charge back on our credit from Mr. *******. we submitted all the paper work to the credit card company and our charge back was reversed. Mr. ******* reached out to me and about the charge back reversal . I told him since we had done the repairs on his car that we are entitled to collect the payment and after all this we still want to correct the issues for Mr. *******. in my 18 years as business owner we have came across may issues that we are responsible for and always have managed to correct the issues with our customers. Mr. ******* can reach out to us so we can arrange time to correct the issues.

I am rejecting this response because:The manager at this shop wants to blend the two paint colors over the car, that still leaves two colors. I didnt pay for that. The problem with pick up is you made me pay before I saw the car. Because I had to **** to your shop and saw what you did to my car, I couldn't leave it there. That's very irresponsible. If I entrust my vehvile to someone and they exhibit such little care I would be foolish to allow the same group to touch my car. They already ruined it.
They dont use any plastic sheeting to protect the interior from paint dust and drivers dirty and greasy clothes and hands. They dont know how to tape properly, they cannot match colors, they cannot put a panel on evenly, they cannot prevent overspray from going on pretty every inch of the car including windows and glass roof, which remains today. I have hours of video of my trunk being left open while paint dusk was blown throughout my interior.
**************** runs a shop that isnt worthy of a second chance, he will just do more damage. My car is two colors and blending them isnt a good solution. I want a full refund or close to it. I have been quoted $6000 to fix this problem. How can I take my car to get painted but now have to pay $6000 to have it repainted properly.
Refund is the only option. **************** is not an honest person and cannot be trusted with my car.

Took my car in for rear end repair, insurance paid for the repair. MAACO has yet to full repair the vehicle and has caused damage as well. They say the repair is complete. It is not. There is still frame damage and the back camera doesn't work, as well as the emergency call function and the rear left tail lamp.Business response

Hi *************** responding to your complaint about the repairs on you **** those pictures are after we addressed the issues. the electrical issues I told you the dealer would have to repair since I don't have experience with electrical special a **** **** did reach out to me and told me the car was at the dealer for the electrical parts. please let me know if I can help you with anything else.
