I was given a firm estimate to repair computer and put I hard drive of 150.00 That was in line with other repair companies. When it was done they gave me a cill of 353.00 Al the repair guy said he does not honor Lori's the owner estimates. Had no choice but to pay it Thats the way it goes he said.

By definition and "estimate" is what you believe the cost will be before a technician examines the device and prices out parts.
The client was given an estimate of $150 a solid-state drive. It did not include labor to recover his data from a failing hard drive , repair the hinge, and restore his data to the new drive. We documented three separate phone calls with the client during the repair process. During that time he selected a 1 TB solid-state drive that was $180.
When the laptop was picked up by the client's partner he was on the phone with the client and was directed to turn on the computer and check it out, he observed a fast boot time and that his data was on the machine. The repair was approved and paid for by his partner. We could overhear him on the phone away "See if they will take $300"

No, LoriTech charges a fair price for excellent service, repairs and parts.

half of their answer isa lie. Computer is even worth that amo0unt of repair they charged. the hard drive was quoted at no more than 75.00 I was never told that was plus labor to plug it in. Everybody knows you just Instruct computer to download in in it. The company has a bad reputation locally pay or we will not release the machine. What they brake while repairing computer I should not have to pay for. I have stopped their credit charge and am in the process of suing for the bad work plus court costs. We will leta judge dcide

You are getting caught in your own lie. You know we charge $100 / hour for labor, if the hard drive was $75 then the price would have been at least $175 but you know you selected an upgraded 1 TB Solid State hard drive Not that it matters what the laptop is worth or not in this discussion but it was a very nice laptop, originally about $1000 and only a couple of years old .
The real issue here is that you are trying to Defraud a Merchant who did the work you ordered in Good Faith and did the job correctly. You and your partner approved the repair and accepted the laptop.

I refuse to cave to a Bully who thinks he can talk me down in price after he has already paid an honest amount for excellent work done properly,
