Our replaced realtor will not write us a check for our security deposit refund.. me and my girlfriend don’t have a bank account together so we’re unable to cash it. The hostile and unprofessional realtor will not budge on this not to mention she has deducted money from our deposit despite realizing how bad of shape the place was in upon our moving in.. Iwe have since moved on and purchased a house with a different realtor and we’ve had nothing but problems with leann ever since . I would like the full refund of the security deposit $1,600 made out to me or my girdle ******* *****

The tenants moved out of this property leaving the property in filthy condition.  Upon moving in, it was cleaned therefore it was to be left in the same condition in order to get their entire security deposit back.  The property was so dirty that we hired someone to clean and pick up the thousand piles of dog poop in the back yard.  Additionally, the AC filters were never changed out damaging the AC system overall.  It was in the lease they were to change out the AC filters quarterly and the filters were provided.  There were the same number of filters there at the property when they left so they never changed them even once.  We kept back $250 of the security deposit and mailed them a check for the difference.  They received a check from us payable to both tenants in the amount of $1350.00 and this check was cashed.  This being cashed closes out any dispute we had.  Please let me know if you have any questions or need any supporting data.

      Sincerely,

      Leann S********

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:Leann had admitted that her cleaning crew wasn’t good and ended up having to fire them. With that being said I know she never inspected the place before we moved in.the place smelled like a dog house, to say there was a thousand pieces of dog poop in the backyard really sums up how unprofessional leann is, it’s not possible for a dog to even go that much in a year. As far as the heating and cooling unit the service guy who came out to fix the furnace on Christmas Day or the day after said that the system was very old and typical to have issues. We also had vacated the property a week early before our time was up. Meaning we could have made an arrangement to take care of whatever issues there were, but knowing leann and how her business works we decided it was a waste of time because she would just make something else up to keep our money.

      Sincerely,

      ****** *******

This is getting absurd.  I did give them the benefit of the doubt and shared with them that the girl I had clean wasn't up to par at the end therefore I thought maybe we could be flexible with how much we were keeping on their security deposit but after being reminded by the owners that they stayed there for a month prior to them moving in and they were certain even after they left it was fine.  Nonetheless, they have agreed to receive most of their security deposit back and have already cashed that check.  If I were doing what they accuse me of doing, I would have kept most of their deposit.  I did not do that.  They left the place filthy and whether in their opinion of how they found it or not if they wanted their whole security deposit back then they would've left the place clean and cleaned up after the dog.

I included just 5 of the photos I have to show how bad it was.  I have remained professional and honest throughout this process.  I never keep a penny of anyone's security deposit unless it is warranted and if Andrew is so convinced, I never saw the property prior to their moving in, why would he risk leaving the place so filthy knowing in his opinion I had never seen the place so therefore having nothing to compare it to.  I paid the girl to clean, and it had been vacant with the exception of a month prior to their occupancy.  They left the place not cleaned after living there for a year and a half.  As well as part of their lease they were supposed to replace the AC filters every quarter of which they did not do.  I only knew this after I sent them the check otherwise, we would have kept more.

I have been in business for 14 years and not once has anyone made a complaint about me and my business practices.  Please let's just move on.
