2.5 hours after my appt where we had to stand in a corner finally got Dr Hughes in to see Morpheus. She had my cat for 9 days thru surgery for an access and ear infection. She spent less than 5 mins with us and only got one call back after 3 requests. Morpheus is dead! When I got him back Dr Hughes was not there and tech could only say Morpheus must be ok or else Dr Hheartbroken. not release him. He is dead and I am heartbroken.

If I could give a negative star review I would!!! To begin with if you care for your animals do not take them here!!! My experience with them was a nightmare, I called to set uo an appointment to neuter two cats. When a few days later they message me saying that the doctors will be out of office that day so I had to reschedule. When I finally get a new date I arrive check in which I filled out all the paperwork beforehand and they said I needed to fill it out again. Then I ask when is pick up and they go tomorrow which I was never informed of this, if I was I would not have dropped off my cats. I tell them I need to pick up today and that I can not pick up tomorrow which I am then ignored so I walk out of the office. I also had a voucher through the county for low cost neuter and everything was supposed to be included, which they did not include everything and tried charging me for extra stuff. I was sent a message that I will be charged for flea prevention which I did not approve as I did not have the money for and they told me well it's cheaper option and that ***** but I have to pay for it. When I picked up I was ignored then when finally asked for help another guest goes I was not helped yet and they helped them first even though I was standing at the counter already. When I was asked how many kennels they tried giving me both cats back in one kennel.. Also they did not give me any of the meds that was included or the e collar. After getting home my one cat is having issues walking funny, not eating. I noticed his belly was shaved, so like did they try to spay him? Also both cats still had their testicles so were they even fixed? My one cat lost so much weight I tried to get him seen at another vet as I did not want to step foot back in this office. He then passes away, I reach out they don't answer their calls. They Text? So then I explain and I'm told it is my fault and won't take responsibility. They are nasty towards me yet again.

Ms ****** we are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your experience at our facility, and I am sorry to hear that your pet has passed away. I want to address the untruths which you have stated in your review. While you did fill out paperwork prior to your visit, as you know the paperwork which you filled out at drop off was different paperwork than that to set up your file. On the authorization, the last paragraph clearly stated that your pet would go home the next day so you in fact were told of the policy and signed the paperwork acknowledging this. Everything was included in the procedure except your pets came in infested with fleas so there was a charge for flea treatment which you had the option to bring them in flea free by giving a bath or flea treatment at home. As far as your cats belly being shaved, on the form you put that it was "unknown" whether your cat was previously spayed or neutered, so the technician was most likely looking for a tattoo, and no your cats did not still have their testicles, the ******* becomes swollen after surgery and this is perfectly normal. If you had actually gone to another vet, they would have told you this. Also, over 3 weeks went by before your cat passed away. You originally told our staff that before he died he wasn't using the bathroom, then you later said he was. If your pet had a urinary blockage that is very serious and is fatal if not treated within 24 to 48 hours. We searched all our incoming calls and texts via our computer software for any communication from you and you never reached out to us to say that anything was wrong until after he died.  We are very sorry for your loss, however if there was a post-operative complication, it would occur within a few days of the procedure, not nearly a month later, and if you had contacted us and brought him in to be checked out, perhaps we could have helped him.

Do not, absolutely do not, under any circumstances use ************** to crop your dogs ears. ************** did one of, if not the, worst crops ever on my Doberman. The ears are two completely different shapes, the tips are completely different and one ear is longer than the other. She also left a huge amount of ear behind. Not to mention I asked for a short crop and received an extra long show crop. I didnt choose her, the breeder, Doomsday Dobermans, did. Whats worse is she hasnt offered a refund or to pay to Recrop. Its a disaster. Never, never, never, use this vet. And for the anti-croppers, youre right.

Very poor communication, I was very concerned of my dogs age being put under and they kept reassuring me that would be no big deal. They would call me after the surgery bring my dog in the following morning by 9 AM. It is now 720 the same night they cant even tell me if my dog had surgery when I called in at 5 oclock the office is now closed. I have no idea if my dog lived or died. This is not as a dog is a member of my family and they dont even care that I am going to go through the night stressing out and freaking out whether or not my dog is alive, do not recommend this vet. Theyre unethical unto the customer and their needs and wants and feelings. I made it very clear my feelings about the surgery they have not done their part even telling me they were going to call me and reassure me that she was OK. I will be following a complaint with my credit card company as well for services not rendered because they force me to pay upfront.

I got ripped off! I brought my cat there because he broke his leg. They had to do surgery and put a screw in his leg that cost me $1,500.00. Right before his 2 week check up he broke the screw that was in his leg and I was charged another $1,500.00 for them to go back in a put a more sturdy and better screw in. Why wasn’t the more sturdy screw put in in the first place? Instead they game him a defective screw and made me pay again. This is not the way to run a business. Horrible company will never recommend them to anybody. They are all about the money not the animals.

Bad business! Not organized. They do not inform clients properly. They lie. I had to bring in pups for ***** check but the vet was not there to sign health certificate. Went back the next day to get health certificates. Was told I had to bring the pups in. I was NOT TOLD THAT!!! Had to pay extra for exam and was NOT TOLD that. I do not recommend this vet AT ALL.

      *******************,

We apologize that you had a misunderstanding with our office, however two of your puppies were sick when you brought in the litter 1 week before and and according to USDA guidelines (which you should become familiar with if you are going to be breeding dogs) requires that pets be examined on the day of the signing of the health certificate. You were not charged for an exam the day before when you came in as you stated because our regular doctor was on maternity leave earlier than expected and only a relief doctor was there. I am unsure why you would assume there would be no charges when the 2 pups that were sick needed health certificates and dewormings which you did not pay for previously. Your charges were appropriate and very fair as the services are required by USDA in order to sign health certificates. Our clients are always welcome to obtain a written estimate. Most of our breeders prep their dogs before bringing them to the vet for health certificates and if you had done that, all of this would have been avoided. I hope this helps you in understanding the process.
