On 10/31/2021, I purchased a rare vintage copy The Underworld Magazine on the website www.thebrooklynarchive.org for $35. After placing the order, I immediately got an automated receipt from Square, which is the e-commerce company used by the website to facilitate online purchases. The receipt email listed my order number as #11. I waited for an email containing shipping or tracking information, but I never received an email confirming shipment. I waited a few weeks & sent an email inquiry through the website. I did not get a response. On November 28, I sent another email to the email address listed on the site, stating my issue with the poor customer service & lack of order fulfillment, and requested that my payment of $35 be refunded. Since I got no response to my previous inquiry, I stated that if I got no response to my refund request, I would be filing a complaint against his company. I got an email response in less than an hour, but it was a rude, condescending response, stating that the respondent was a college student, traveled a lot for work, & that his business is just a hobby. I replied that his circumstances were irrelevant, that you cannot offer things for sale, & then not provide the items once payment is received. I again requested a refund of my money. What followed was a series of more condescending emails, until I had to specifically tell the respondent to refund my money & stop emailing me. It has been close to 2 months now since I place the order through this website, & I have still not received the item, shipping/tracking information, or a refund. This is a fraudulent business, & others should avoid doing business on this website.Business response

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2021/12/20) */ This is remarkable someone would go out of their way like this off of false pretense... The magazine was shipped, and he was issued a refund as well? Not sure what more to say? I responded to his emails and he wanted me to stop responding to him for him reason after he would make a remark or ask a question?
