My wife and I are returning customers. We completed our 1040 tax return In their office and they e-filed our tax return. On April 12 TH. Returning home that day I sent their payment online by **** of America. Also I made a check to the irs for payment due. The same day. With **** Of American. The irs said their was 72 hour time frame for them to pull the money from our account. Now 10 days later , still no debit on our BOA. I ended up this morning calling the irs office. Too see why my payment was being Processed. After the irs did a research on our account they found ******************** put our account on an extension. ? I followed up after our phone conversation with the irs. And called Florida Tax Advisors the office staff was on vacation. ? No one their to help us. The person answering the phone said she would email ******* *******. I did get a return call a while ago . His answer was you didnt pay us the 1040 fee. I gave him the confirmation number. Showing payment was made. I got no satisfaction talking with him . Plus they made no Communication with us to explain their putting our taxs on EXTENSION . On day one. BBB My understanding was all billing had At least 15 days or 30 before becoming late. As far as the irs is concerned We still sitting on a hold with this EXTENSION. PS they were advised that day I would be making a on line payment. I also gave them a **** of America confirmation number. Today. In closing this is one tax advisor we wont be going back too. *****************

We have been member of the BBB community for many years and serve 700+ client households in this area—
Unfortunately, from time to time, there are clients who wish to resolve things publicly through this format as a threat to disparage our company name for their perceived slights—
The facts of the matter are this—
(1)           On Friday, April 5th I met with the ******** for their tax intake—
(2)           On Friday, April 12th, Mr.  ****** was provided a completed tax return and a bill for our services--
(3)           On Monday, April 22nd, I received notification from our staff that Mr. ****** called into our office and was quite nasty because he did not want an extension--
(4)           I specifically came into the office from the first day of my one-week vacation to return Mr. ******** call--
(5)           I advised Mr. ****** that the staff member that he met with on April 12th was out of the office on a three-day vacation--
(6)           I advised Mr. ****** that per my staff member’s notes, his tax file was flagged for outstanding payment due--
(7)           I advised Mr. ****** that we filed the extensions for any flagged tax returns on April13-14 --
(8)           When I asked Mr. ****** if he could provide proof of payment, he specifically stated that he had confirmation from his bank of the check being sent on April 19th (a Friday), which was four days after the Tax Filing Deadline—
(9)           As of the typing of this response to the ****** complaint (Wednesday April 24th) our office still has not received a check or payment from the ******** for the services our company rendered—
Additionally, Mr. ****** signed our Tax Client Terms and Conditions Letter each year he has been a tax client, and this letter specifically states the following—
Payment for Services Rendered—
(1)           Invoices are due and payable upon presentation--
(2)           We reserve the right to defer rendering further services until payment is received on past due invoices--
Further and throughout the duration of the call, Mr. ****** was confrontational, derogatory, threatening and cursing as follows—
(1)           Mr. ****** stated that I personally was an (expletive) moron
(2)           Mr. ****** stated that our staff was incompetent
(3)           Mr. ****** stated that I would not want him to come down to our office (to provide payment or proof of payment) in his current state of mind
(4)           Mr. ****** stated that he would trash our company name to everyone in his community and he made mention that he knows a lot of people
(5)           Mr. ****** stated that he would call or had called a Tax Attorney to report us
(6)           Mr. ****** stated that he spoke with the IRS and reported us
Even though this is not the first negative interaction with Mr. Newell, we do understand that people get upset from time to time, sometimes for issues that may or may not be related to our firm and/or our services—
While we are sorry to see well established clients leave, usually it is for the best—
All this being said, we do wish the ******** nothing but the best for their future endeavors--
