This concerns the roofing job done by the subject of this complaint in the fall at 1*** ***** *** Tallahassee FL. This is my rental house and it was under management at the time the work was done, by Empire Property Management of Tallahassee. I was not allowed on the premises due to a hostile tenant. When my tenant left in January I noticed a decorative dormer up on the roof has a rotten front where it meets the roof. In my view this should have been addressed during the reroofing job performed by Lloyd Roofing. Now I am faced with a new roof with flashing all around the area and the area needs to be replaced. I have called Lloyd roofing and explained the situation several times. They have made appointments to come out and speak to me (I’ve waited as I do not live on the property) and no one showed up and no one called. This is very poor customer service. I would simply like to come to a fair solution on how we replace the rotted decorative dormer front on the roof. I do not want to address this issue myself as the dormer meets the new roof and is flashed there. I’ve been told they only stick to their scope - I disagree that this rotten area is out of a typical roofing scope as when it leaks, and it will, it will leak back under the new roof.Business response

Please see the attached contract, invoice and recent quote to replace the damaged siding that the homeowner is concerned about from the job completed at 1*** ***** ****** ************ ** *****. The rotted fascia that the owner is referring to is not in our contract and or invoice to replace. We sent him a quote today with the price to replace this siding piece that is in question.
