This guy tried to tell me my AC was too big for my house, there was a wire loose, AND that the compressor was broken on our unit. He then quoted me nearly $14,000 worth of work to be done. I told him I wasn't going to pay that. We paid him fir the service call and he left. Once he left, I went outside to check the unit because it was still really hot inside. Come to find out, he had turned the outside breaker off during his visit. That's just not right. If it was a bad compressor, the unit would never come on. Before he was here it would randomly come on and worked well while it was on. These guys are crooks and take advantage of the elderly. Shame on you.Review from Olivia H

If I could give Super Heat and Air zero stars, I would. This company does not care about A/C service, they prefer to try to sell new units than to actually troubleshoot and repair units. We signed a service contract with them and in 2 years service members tried to sell us new units each time they came out for service. The first tech that came for service to replace a capacitor installed the fans backwards, the second tech spent 20 minutes at our units and told us we needed new units, the latest incident, tech came out, didn’t even troubleshoot and told us we needed a new unit or a $1,500 part. My husband replaced the capacitor that he ordered on Amazon for $20 and reinstalled the fan blades correctly. AC units is working perfectly. Our units are 6 year old carrier units that have a life expectancy of 15-20 years. I would not recommend or use super heat and air for anything! They are not customers friendly and are in the business of ripping customers off not providing service. The techs are useless at best and also are not interested in helping customersReview from Laura T

I needed a new air conditioner April 2024. It wasn't long after and they have to replace the first air conditioner, because it wasn't hooked up to the gas line which they had left the gas line open. It is now August and they have yet to get this right. They have been back over ************************************************ get it right. When the manager contacted us, I had hope that it may get better, but no, he "is no longer employed there". When I asked to speak to the regional manager, I was denied contact. I would NEVER recommend Super Heat and Air to anyone.Review from Sharon B

I ordered a new HVAC unit and was told it would be in and ready to be installed in 3-4 days. It is now 8 days and no word from the company. I put down 4500 (50%). Im afraid I have been a victim of fraud. When I call the company, the person apologizes and says he will have the office call me in the morning. The company brought in a portable one room unit for my living room. The rest of my house registers 89-95 degrees. I have requested a refund and am waiting for a call tomorrow.Review from Leah W

I had an AC unit with an ultra-violent light put in in August of 2022. The salesman who sold this to us stated we would receive 4 maintenance cleanings over two years, contract for two years and labor was included in this. First time they put residential duct work under our home which was not correct for a manufactured home. They had to redo all the duct work. They tried to lay on PVC pipe about 4 inches from the ground which when we purchased this was told would be connected to the bottom of the home. The first inspection did not pass. It took until the end of January 2024 for a passed inspection. During the time before inspection, they had to change the size of duct vents due to not blowing air correctly. We had to have them correct junction boxes under the house, repair duct work which fell to the ground from vents inside the house. They had to glue the silver coating back onto the top of area will the ** light was inside the unit. There was water inside the bottom which they would not clean out or do anything with. We had them send out a tech who just looked at 2 vents and refused to look at the unit or check it out. They had the wrong type of PVC cap on the outside for the water to drain. During this time which would still be under warranty have refused to do maintenance cleanings, respond to us and have blocked our number and stated they can choose to not honor contract for any reason they want. Stay clear because you will only have to spend your own money for repairs which already included motor fan, AC Capacitor and Maintenace for your unit. There were other things as well during this which not listed due to space to write.Review from Scott H

Do yourself a huge favor and go anywhere else except for Super Heat & Air. Just this past weekend our AC went out. The technician stated we needed a new compressor outside. Well come to find out the compressor warranty isnt all that great so we were coaxed in to buying a new unit inside and out. Come to find out the technician replaced a capacitor to get us through the night. So not only did we not need a new unit, this company charges almost double the cost as other AC companies. As a rule of thumb the industry standard for AC units is $3k to 3.5k per ton. Super Heat and Air charged us 14k for a 2.5 ton unit, you can do the math. Please do not go with these crooks, they are robbing people blind, sorry to say I was lead to believe them. That was a huge $7K mistake.Review from Daniel G

Don't use this Company! The technician that came out Randy M. said that I had a bad capacitor which was replaced. Then turn around and told me that there was another issue with the unit he had a dig deeper. Tell me that the TXV valve was clogged and he was trying to sell me this part with labor for like 3 grand. Now let me add my home was not sitting under 80° for 2 days at this point and I was kind of desperate. But everything seemed pretty suspect when he put that capacitor in there and the AC blew cold right away. Also, let me add he told me that my AC was not under warranty which I had to find out later when he left because I called the company personally and they said that it was still under warranty. So I ended up telling him that I did not want to buy this txv valve for 3 Grand and just to leave it. Long story short all it needed was a capacitor and this technician was trying to sell me something I didn't need and scam me and my family out of money!!! At one point he was trying to sell me a whole ****ing unit I will never use this company. And I'm still waiting for the owner to contact me. To refund the service fee for the BS service they tried to sell me.Review from Huy N

I have sign up a contract with them to replace my A/C package unit in November 12, 2021. They were to start on Sunday November 13 and finished Thursday November 18. They showed up on Sunday around 11 am in the morning and left around 2 pm. They removed the existing system and took the old A/C unit with them and left most of the teared out duct work on my grass a long with 3 feet by 3 feet hole in my outside wall to my bedroom closet. I have warned them to cover up the hole on Monday before they left, but they still left that a hole and went home that day. They were to removed my old insulation with rented equipment from Sunbelt. Tuesday no called no showed. I called the sale rep Eric a long with office but the lady was answering the phone said she will do an investigation and call me back. She called me back around 4 pm on Tuesday and stated that she made a mistake for scheduled them to work in different places. On Wednesday no showed and called me that they will have to come on Thursday. Thursday they came over and said it is impossible to remove all the old insulation and wished to add new insulation on top of the old insulation. The reason I wanted them to removed in the first place was it was so stinky. They said they cannot do like Sale Rep (Eric) and I was agreed on do to the county code. I do not agreed with them and they was rude and said it doesn't matter what the sale rep (Eric) and I was agreed on. I was no happy with a such disrespectful talk with one of them senior installer. So I terminated the work they want to do. I called up to Goodleap lending company to cancel the loan on Thursday and they said it will be canceled. In the time I was looking for someone to come in and finish the work started by Super Heat & Air. I had family member came over to spend times with our family for chrismas and new year. I was remodeling my bathrooms and kitchen. I was so busy doing that to completed on time for the holiday. Such a bad experience.Review from Jennifer L

How can you be a 24/7 emergency operation and have no one to come out??? I called and messaged and texted and still 4 hours later nothing! I finally called again and of course got a story blah blah.... Sooo now apparently no one is "on call" and have to wait until Monday wtf no AC in summer heat! The kicker is we had someone come out not that long ago for same issue and oh nothing seems wrong yadda ya and here we are again but this time it's completely done, pretty sure motor went out this is just some bull because we barely had the unit a year! This company talks a good talk but don't seem to want to assist their customers!Super Heat & Air Response

HELLO,
IN RESPONSE TO THE CUSTOMERS COMPLAINT, THEY CALLED INTO OUR OFFICE SATURDAY 7/25 AT 12:40PM OUR ALTHOUGH OUR POLICY ALLOWS US 24 HOURS TO GET TO THERE HOME WE STILL BOOK CALLS 24/7. AS ITS THE MIDDLE OF SUMMER AND WE ARE EXTREMELY BUSY WE BOOKED MRS. LITTLEFIELD IN QUE FOR THE NEXT AVAILABLE APPOINTMENT WHICH WAS SUNDAY 7/26. WE ARRIVED AT THE HOME AT 12:48PM SUNDAY AND GOT HER SYSTEM COOLING THIS WAS THE TECHNICIANS REPORT. Was founded broken wire connection in the capacitor go to common for the fan motor this was fixed and tested/ ... WE RECIEVED A CALL BACK THAT IT WASNT COOLING AGAIN AFTER TECH LEFT HE WENT BACK RIGHT AWAY AT 3PM AND STATED Found ambient sensor knock off the defrost board...... AND AGAIN AT 5PM One of the wires in the seal type broke off high voltage kept Tripping the breaker...
SO ALTHOUGH WE DIDNT GET OUT THE SAME DAY OUR TECHNICIANS WERE BOOKED UP THROUGH THE NIGHT BUT WE WERE OUT NEXT DAY AND GOT CUSTOMER COOLING FOR NO CHARGE ALL WITHIN OUR CONTRACT AGREEMENT.
