Had a service call today to do multiple work on the air handler and unit outside. the tech was here from 9am to 2pm. when the tech left he said everything was done and should be working correctly. Mind you, the unit was working just fine prior to them coming out. About an hour later we noticed it wasn't cooling off and the temp was up to 82 in the house. we called the company and told them what was going on, that the unit wasn't working and it's putting out hot air now. They said they would have someone out tomorrow between 3 and 6. We told them that was unacceptable and the unit was working before the tech started working on it and they need toncome back out and fix their mistake. They said they are not sending anyone out today. This was at 4pm and the temp had gotten up to 85. They said the best they can do is tomorrow between 9am and 12pm now. We asked to speak to the manager and or owner and we were told the manager clocks off at 4 and doesn't do anything after hours. So now we have to wait until tomorrow to have air condition because the tech decided to just leave and not finish the job and or check the system before they left. So..... they came out, broke a system that was working just fine, and refused to come out and fix their mistake. Highly recommend finding someone else. It is now 87 degrees in the house with all the windows open.

This was my worst experience I've ever had dealing with a company that had a number of traps and over pricing customers. I will never have them any other work for me. I received my quote and agreed prematurely to the work without getting a second opinion. Not only did they try and trap me into paying for a $39 a month service fee, they overcharged for every piece that didn't need replacing. I looked up a few of the prices and for a normal full service tune it, it ranges $100-150. I was charged $459. The float switch was only $39 online but I was charged $469. The entire bill was $1770 and when I called 3 other companies, their estimates came back from $1000-$1200. After I was stuck into paying, the tech said he had to remain on the property until the bill was paid. This seems odd. So after I paid, I told him to leave! This was such a bad experience. Also a trap they use in order to overcharge customers is to sign up for their $39 a month plan which comes out to $469 a year. I spoke with a few AC technicians and they agreed that you should do more than once a year service for around $100 a year total. In their own words, he said "Those people are scammers and you should never do business with them!". I notified my home owners association to list the company as a predatory company and stay away from them. I volunteer to help Senior Citizens weekly and I'm letting everyone know to stay away from them because The AC Therapist is one of the worst types of companies to deal with and I plan on spreading the word. This is an experience I will remember and I hope my mistake and experience can help you make better decisions than I did. You should never rush and always get 2-3 estimates.

First let me start by saying that this company has given us a run around since day one we called to have them fix a leak that literally ruined our floor and we had to tear up tiles our hall they try to charge us for every little thing that is wrong with the unit that we are continually paying for mind you we have kids and an elderly sick mom that we take care of and they tell us to turn the ac off in 100 degree heat, the pump is now broken since the last guy didnt even speak English we dont know what he did the ac unit is supposed to be new but already needed the coils cleaned out and now the pump is broken they are trying to charge us more money to fix it when we already pay for it monthly and is supposed to be under warranty makes me wonder if it is really new would not recommend this company to my worst enemy we shouldnt have no issues with this when its supposed to be a year old and we had a ac unit before that was over 5yrs old and didnt have this many issues with it we have done everything to keep it up changed the filter make sure area is cleaned.

This review is so full with lies and just nonsense, and for someone who was born in this country, the way you write is at the same level as that of my Tech that has lived here for a year. We were 1st called almost a Year after we installed the unit, and what we found was a very Dirty unit and we charged you $89 for a full system tune up. Keep in mind that our labor warranty does not includes maintenance issues, like you never or barely replacing the Air Filter.

We were called back a month or 2 after that tune up and the coil was even nastier than before, full or dirt and hair. After you went all out on blaiming for you keeping a dirty unit, and not caring at all for the few thousands of dollars that you invested in it, I decided to give you a $700 job for free to get you off my back. We had to clean your coil outside because of how dirty it was, only after about 1 year of having installed the unit, and while you love blaming us, we were not the ones that neglected to clean the house in that long.

Now you call is a month after, because water is pooling in the closet again. Without a shred of decency, start yelling insults to the employee that was trying to set you up for a visit, he never mentioned any charges at all, so your statement that we wanted to charge you for the pump is a lie, we hadn't even gone to your house and determine the issue was the pump by the time you left the review, so how did you knew it was the pump?

What is even more interesting is that the pump's water reservoir was cracked, and yes, we worked on it about a month ago, but the crack is recent, otherwise the water would have spilled back when we did the work. So you called us playing the victim, accused us of wanting to charge you for repairs that we did not even knew about, and then leave a review before our service call saying that we tried to charge you for the very same issue that we later found. It all sounds premeditated to me, because that pump laying in the ground, does not cracks by itself, someone did!! And by the way, we replaced it for FREE since that is part of our labor warranty, we fix broken parts, not clean your mess.

Sorry no my review is not full of lies your phone guy told us to turn the unit off till Monday because you didn’t have anybody that works weekends we have changed the filters every week and a half before your tech decided to reroute the pump no one goes in the ac area unless we are changing the filters it’s very rude to sit there and say our house is dirty I’m so sorry we have life’s we have kids the tiles in the hall were torn up caused by a leak from the ac your pump was not cracked it is overflowing with water the one you guys supposedly replaced is overflowing all over our floor again and all you do is sit and talk crap about your clients that’s really professional your guys were never yelled at we are just letting you guys know that we are tired of being jerked around and if your the owner of the company you will be hearing from our lawyer we tell you guys what the problem is and you don’t fix it but instead put us down and put our home down that is real business like and we made this review the day your salesman that sold us the unit came and changed out the bottom part of the pump. The pump is not new only thing that is new is the pan. And I didn’t say you did charge me I said you have said you were going to the guy that came out to do maintenance on the ac couldn’t even speak English had to call somebody else to translate then say we are doing construction in our hall no we had to tear up tile’s because our tiles got ruined by the water and you guys said it was condensation sorry but that is to much water to be condensation we are not playing victim we are the victims obviously what you said above shows how much you care about your clients so I guess this pump pan is cracked to that’s why it’s coming out of the area where it separates right not even a few hours old supposedly and it’s already leaking everywhere it’s all dirty and slimy on the inside it’s not new maybe the bottom part but not the top. You need reevaluate your techs and people you have working for you or maybe stop treating your clients like crap.
