My brother is a U.S. Marine Corps Vietnam Veteran, we received the email about Veterans Appreciation Day, we signed up to have him get 4 free tickets. His wife has dementia, cant walk far so I rented a wheelchair The trams were not running due to inclement weather. I ran ahead to the park to get the wheelchair. At the ticket area I asked them if it was ok for me to get the wheelchair and go get her they said yes Igot the wheelchair walked out of the park to get herAt the ticket scanning areaThey told my brother he had to take the printed email confirmation for his VETERAN’S APPRECIATION TICKETS back outside to the ticket booths to get real tickets. we started to exit the ticket scanning area and were stopped we were told you cannot take the wheelchair over there We explained she cannot walk that far they said we had to be escorted to the ticket booth I explained to them they let me exit the park just a few minutes ago with the wheelchair to get her but they insisted no you need the escort By this time we had all had enough decided we were leaving The escort finally shows up and as we are walking we tell her we are parked pretty far she says “I can’t take you to the car, I can only take you to the tram” , I say is the tram running she says NO! how do you expect us to get my sister in law to the car? She says I don’t know Theres an incident in the parking lot with people fighting and the police are all over the place. My brother goes to speak to one of the Police Officers who of course are very helpful and tells him to go and get the car and they will help us get as close as we can to get her. ALL the times I have been to the park I have NEVER seen anyone in a wheelchair being escorted out of the park we were treated extremely poorly with little or no compassion for the situation. My brother is not only a Veteran, he is a retired New York Port Authority Police Officer, the treatment he received is inexcusable. your employees are RUDE, UNCARING, and UNHELPFUL

Biggest ripoff ever. Well over $138 for admission. $45 for parking. Charge an additional $5 for the privilege of riding some rides. $45 for two chicken sandwiches and two cokes. Seriously, believe it or not Universal and ****** are far *************!!! Avoid at all cost!Review from Jody H

This place is a total ripoff. Half the park was under construction or closed for the season. We went to see the animals but the train was down. The areas that had displays were empty and closed. Only a few rides were open. There were numerous extra charges such as $32 to park and an administration fee in addition to the ticket price. The food was terrible and unbelievably expensive. The manager was rude to the many customers that waited in line for identical complaintsI could go on and on. Before you waste your money, PLEASE READ ALL THE REVIEWS.Review from Amy A

Horrible exeperience. I have been a passholder since 2015, went to use two of my guest passes and they completely messed up my account to where I could not even pull up my platinum pass on the app or website. Had to wait in line at the gate to get a printed copy. To make matters worse, I called before leaving for the park and was put on hold for like 10 minutes, finally the music stopped and got a recording to please rate our service.. well that was a zero. Food is horrible, ********************** on the dining passes. Long lines and rude employees. I only keep the passes for my grandchildren when they come visit. Seriously will be glad when my year is up, will not renew.Review from Deborah H

Beware when buying an annual pass. Read all the fine print and good luck trying to cancel their automatic renewal. They offer a package of free tickets but are very restrictive as to when you can use them. Any extras are quite expensive with little discount for pass holders. After our year was up we tried to cancel. They charged our debit card and we were told it would be 3 weeks before our money was returned. After an hour on the phone and finally speaking to a supervisor, we were told our money would be returned in 3 days. Funny how when you purchase something it comes out of your account instantaneously, but they can't reciprocate.Review from Darleen F

I wonder if anyone has experiencede This issue I have been a member of Busch gardens for 2 years back in August 13th of 2023 I gave Busch gardens my new debit card number because it had changed I wasn't told until October of 2023 but my car declined it not once but three times and now they say that my card is no longer good they deactivated it and said that I need to pay $25.30 in order to get me another package deal you would think you know not checking your emails that they would either you know call you or text you instead of saying you know putting it in email that they didn't get paid for August September and October but they didn't I am filing a complaint against Busch gardens because for the simple fact I've been a member for two and a half years and paid their prices and yet this is how you do customers my package and price will go up I'm not fixing to pay that because they get enough money from everybody that comes around there so I wonder if somebody else has been done like this because they canceled my past membership because I owe $25.30 excuse me if you're paying $13 a month then wouldn't it be $26 into instead of 25 and 30 cents where does a 30 cents come in I mean **** gardens can't add I am so disappointed in Busch gardensReview from Sierra M

Falsely advertises promotions and products. **************** is a joke. The site only has misleading and ambiguous information. They fail to take accept responsibility or be held accountable for all of their misinformation. The app is a headache and makes things even more inconvenient and difficult. No refunds, NO exceptions even if they are at fault. Food is very poor quality and way overpriced. I have 2 tickets under one name and they refuse to give me a refund for the mix-up. I have spent nearly $400 now for a gold annual pass that are $250 normally. This business is crooked and shady and will do anything to trick people into buying their **** The park is run down with so many places inside closed regularly. Born and raised in Tampa so I know the place well. Spend your money elsewhere.Review from Christopher E

What happened to the real Busch Gardens Tampa?? We always have looked forward to visiting every time we're in Florida and when we finally got to the park it was one big disappointment. No shows were playing at the park, something that we always enjoyed. It seemed no matter where you went there was construction or the exhibit was closed. We spent $290 for admission to a place you definitely " DO NOT" get your money's worth for.
