First issue - demolition of fence was agreed by all parties to be completed by homeowners prior to start date of project. However, a day or two later the sales person called and asked if they could come out earlier to start the project due to workforce and timing, it was agreed via telephone that the workers would demo the fence due to the timing of the project taking place earlier than expected. All parties agreed that the fence would be demo'd by the company. Workers came out to remove the existing fencing and gate on the right side of the house and replace with vinyl gate. Then they left. Days later we were informed that the remainder of the project couldn't be started due to large portion of fencing on the left side of the house still present. We attempted to inform the office dispatcher of the agreement had with sales. They denied the agreement and would not come to a compromise. We offered to split the cost of demolition, with the total price of the project in mind. The neighbor paid quite a sum and we paid almost $1000 for our portion. Office dispatcher was belligerent and uncooperative. Second issue- discovered 02/20/2024 was that the workers destroyed the sprinkler system on our property and the neighbors property. Irrigation pipes were broken and intentionally cut while installing the fence and no notification was made to either homeowner. Our irrigation repair bill totaled almost $1200 which could have been avoided if the company let us know that the workers damaged the piping, which was a much less expensive fix. On our property, at the gate section of the fence on the right side of the home, the pipe to the well for the irrigation and broken and therefore air and dirt was pushed into the well. Attempts were made to hide the destruction via covering with dirt and cutting the pipes to look like it wasn't the fence company.
