Hired this company to put a new metal roof on our ****. December 7, 2023 roof completed. Roof leaks. Sent someone to repair leak. Roof leaks. Sent a second person to repair leak. Roof leaks. Sent a third person to repair leak. Waited 9 weeks and six days to get leak repaired. Not happy.

We met with ***** today to plan on replacing our windows with hurricane-resistant windows and ask questions about replacement windows and the best way to make them affordable. He was punctual, well-informed, and a pleasure to deal with. We were happy with the quote, which included a military and senior discount, so we decided to proceed. We are very pleased that we chose May Custom Home. The communication with the office staff and our project manager ******* has been great. It was a pleasure working with the installers at May Custom Home.They were all very professional, friendly, and always returned our calls and answered our questions.The installers tackled a 2nd floor job that was difficult and posed some challenges, which they met with knowledge and experience to provide our top-level installation. The work they did was top quality and the outcome was fabulous! 5 Stars

We suffered damage from hurricane ***, and *** responded quickly to our initial call. They took care of everything within the time frame they had given us. They did a beautiful job rebuilding our lanai and repairing damaged soffits.Workers were prompt, friendly, courteous and most important knew what they were doing. Thank you MCH for making this happen!

They started out bad. As we were out of town when they started the job replacing our roof. Without notice they were starting the job, a month early, in the process of the job my truck sat in the driveway, un covered during the entire job, damaged the hood of my truck. Damaged multiple gutters and nails hold said gutters. Never returned phone calls, to this day, after a year and a half, a leak with drywall damage, I call the installation section and told them we wanted an estimate on a roof. When he called m,e back, I told him this very story, only to be lied to againIll take your concerns over to them right now and youll here from someone by Friday. This was 3 months ago now. They gave me $80 to fix the hood of my truck. What a joke. We paid a lot of money for a pretty shoddy job as far as were concerned. **** and *****************

In July 2022, I hired May Custom Home/7 Porch Diamond to put in a 9x12 back screen porch. I paid 2,950 deposit. I knew it would take a few weeks to get all the permits and documents. 4 months later! I finally recorded the final permit. They assured me thatI would receive a call from the builder the next day. 2 weeks later they still assured me someone will call to schedule the build. The next day I get a text stating They added an additional $3,000 to the total. Dozens of texts phone calls and emails to the manager, CEO and legal department. I still haven't found a solution. I asked for a refund and still no answer except a text with legal email. My lawyers sent a letter over a month ago requesting a refund. Still no answer. I tried to negotiate several other scenarios. I simply do not have extra cash. I have been kind and patient in all of my calls, texts and emails. I'm very upset.

I signed up with this company in May, 2022 to replace roof after hail storm . I tried to cancel contract but owner-CEO refused stating he would personally take care of my project. In July replacement started. It took the crew over 1 week but they never finished. They ruined a new concrete slab with tar and power washing. They broke down the corner of house by leaving bundle of shingles hanging off of house. Upon inspection and taking pictures of roof that was partially complete, beer bottle caps were discovered in gutters. These items were eventually fixed. I questioned office about the work permit that I had never seen. No permit was pulled at the time of replacement. I eventually contacted the building inspector of Highlands county myself. What **** was telling me was completely different than building inspector.On December 29, 2022 I had to travel from ******* to May Custom Home office in order to get me final paperwork and sign over the depreciation check.I was given the depreciation check, from my insurance company, dated August 31, 2022. In the front lobby room of May Custom Home, there hangs a sign that stated they are in good standing with BBB! You might want to check that out.I feel like a weight has been lifted from me to be done with the deceitful uncaring person.

May Custom Home was hired in May 2022 after the hail storm in Sebring. 3 different friends hired the company to repair damage. It took 2 months for them to start work. They consistently were trying to get more money from insurance and customers for work not needed. He put a lien on one property without doing the work. Ordered the wrong product and installed on the home and then refused to correct the issue. Consistently said talk to my attorney rather than attempting to resolve the issue professionally. Stopped work on another project halfway through stating not enough money to complete and NEVER submitted supplement to get additional funds from insurance. Took six months to complete a roof and failed to pull permits before. Would not get final approval from inspector so the homeowner had to call inspector directly. The owner sent me a text message with profanity and offensive language. The owner is rude, disrespectful and abusive to customers. Especially women and seniors. Do not. I repeat DO not hire this company for any job.
