I rent from a Buddys located on ******************, in ************ Fl If I could file a police report for theft I would. Legalized Robbery! I started renting a fridge with ice maker and water in April but within a couple weeks it stopped cooling or freezing. They bought me a loaner that was a cheap freezer-on-top style, but kept charging me for the more expensive double door fridge while it was supposedly in the shop being repaired. (no, it was never in the shop)I was in the hospital for months but realised that I was still paying for a fridge that they never brought back, at the end of ************, they claimed that my fridge was finally fixed, brought it back to me, and 20 minutes after they left, it was obvious that it had not been fixed.Ive had it back for 11 days and all they wanted to do was bring me another loaner and try to repair this pos again, instead of replacing it with one that actually works.Of course, I was told that I would have to start a new contract if I wanted a different refrigerator as a replacement, and NO, I dont get any type of refund after paying for a Fridgedaire side-by-side but actually having a Standard fridge, for FIVE (5) months.Sooo, yea Im disgusted with this place and told them to come get this hunk of junk out of my house by Friday, or Im setting it outside.I will never get my money back, but ****** learned.Never, ever, ever, buy anything from Buddys!!!Buddy's Home Furnishings Response

Leased from a buddy’s in bellmead tx. Could not pay for product and was trying to return it the male working there refused to take it and the other worker told me to bring it in cause they would not waste man power on me. Then when I arrived the male worker was trying to physical fight me over leaving them he went on and I called the cops. The cops told me to take the product back and don’t worry about this. I feel I was trying to do the right thing and the worker at this location was irate with me for no reason. He should be fired on treating customers like this.Buddy's Home Furnishings Response

I'd give it zero stars if I could. My husband and I go a fridge from the Tyler, Tx location and when they came to deliver it they left a dolly in front of my TV and it fell and broke my tv and they blamed my daughter who literally just walked by it. They said she was playing around it, but they weren't even in the room to see it fall. When I called the store the manager was very rude and when I said I was mad they came and picked the fridge back up and I've yet to receive a refund. The boss of the location won't call me back. This is ridiculous!!!, I have been a customer here in Sanford, fl for years NEVER been late, NEVER missed a payment, NO DRAMA!!! I made payment early as always I call EVERY month to make payment early. I get a text today as a payment reminder payment is due tomorrow? I call the bank and BUDDY'S took out wrong amount. I call the store manager says they had a computer glitch last week and I need to pay balance I explained I don't have it now because I thought they got paid. He basically told me there's nothing he can do in spite of my great payment history, and the error BY BUDDY'S!!! Therefore I told him I can't do anything either except have them come get Bedroom Suite. Don't even waste your time calling Customer Service YOU WON'T EVER SPEAK TO A PERSON!!! They charged my card without my permission I was past due but I had already planned on making a payment and not only did they charge it without my permission they charged me for two payments when they did it I did call and ask for a refund for the extra payment but them doing the payment without my permission made me have to miss work for that day due to that being my babysitter money They showed up the day my payment was due not even a few hours into them even being open when I had planned on making my payment but because the constant harassment I will be returning my merchandise and going else where dont show up till at least the next morning but the constant harassment meant between coming to the house and calls makes me not want to pay even moreBuddy's Home Furnishings Response

Have a lovely partner in Texas I can't remember which store it is that is being threatened with legal action with missing 2 payments because their pay is messed up. I called to ask a basic question and they tried to dodge and not answer my question. Said, and I quote, "it's none of your buisness." Horrible service and Shady buisness practice. Doesnt even deserve a one star. Kept interrupting me at work. I got in trouble at because they continued to call when I told them I was making a payment that same day. Said they had a police officer go to my home and lied about it once they received payment. Would never recommend.Buddy's Home Furnishings Response

The store in *******, ** has processed a payment without my authorization and they waited until they closed to do it. Before this they say they can not run a payment without permission but yet they did it to me. Also, they don't have a manager to be able to talk to. ***** is the one that takes of accounts and I'm pretty sure she's the one that processed the payment.Buddy's Home Furnishings Response

The Buddy's location in ************* , the new manager they have is very unprofessional and mist definitely rude. I missed 1 payment and she called being very rude and wasn't trying to work with me with the payment. I love the store but some employees needs to be retrained!Buddy's Home Furnishings Response
