      I only requested 1 report for 99 cents. I never authorized a continued billing. They continued to charge me for additional reports that I did not get, authorize or request. When I called I was on hold for 25 minutes so I hung up. The BBB is **** with complaints about the company. ****** should remove them as a client. They are a scam.

      Today, I received an alert on a credit agency website indicating that my personal information might have been compromised and available online. Concerned about this, I followed a link to Information.com, where I was informed that details including my name could be accessible. I was offered a report for a fee of $1.00 to view the specifics of the compromised information, so I decided to sign up.After completing the transaction, I found multiple unexpected charges pending on my credit card, beyond the initial $1.00. These include two charges of $29.99 each and an additional $6.99 charge. These charges were not transparent during the sign-up process, and I was not informed that this report would result in such additional fees. I feel mislead and conned by the lack of price transparency.Details of the Issue:Date of Transaction: [12 Nov 2024]Amount Charged: Total of $67.97, comprising two charges of $29.99, one charge of $6.99, and one charge of $1.00.Nature of the Dispute: Misleading and excessive charges. The advertised $1.00 fee was not reflective of the actual cost, and the additional charges were not clearly disclosed or explained upfront. This lack of transparency feels deceptive and unfair.Attempts to Resolve: After noticing the excessive charges, I immediately canceled my subscription within five minutes of signing up and after viewing the *** report. Despite my prompt cancellation, the charges remain pending on my card, and I have not been able to reach Information.com for clarification or a refund.

      I I purchased a report for 99 cent this was supposed to be a one-time purchase it never said anything about a subscription. But this renews in 5 days they also charged me an additional $6.99 and ***** that I did not approve that also renews. The advertisement said 99 cent I did not consent to all these other charges on my card I tried to cancel the subscription but there is no way to cancel I emailed the email and I'm waiting a response I will call the number tomorrow that is listed. They should not tell people it's a one-time fee but also charging charges that they didn't ask authorization for. I would like to be refunded my 6.99 and ***** because I did not authorize those charges it was supposed to be a 99 cent charge that's all.

      I purchased the trial version for $0.99; however, there is no where to cancel the subscription after you run a report. The report I ran had a birth date which was correct; however the age of said person was older and deceased which I know for a fact this is ********* can you advertise a person age and give them a report that said person is deceased and died in 2002.
