I broke my hip 6/17 in ***** & had surgery the next day. We contacted MASA = told them what had happened ==they realized I would need assistance returning to the states. This is where Global Med stepped in/=they are a great organization ==everything was handled by them. All special needs at the airports, planes,etc were handled by them==all medically & professionally done til they handed me over to the open arms of my ***************** When you are in their care you have complete peace of mind. THANK YOU are two simple words but they come from our families heart!!

My husband was paralyzed from the waist down after an accident while visiting relatives in **********. After surgery and acute rehab I needed to get him home to ****** with medical help.I was given the name of Global Medical Services and called. I received an immediate response from them along with an explanation of their services. The arrangements went smoothly as did the medical transfer. Never have I had such a positive experience with any company like this company. My sister became permanently incapacitated due to brain cancer. On short notice we had to have her transported from San Francisco to Oregon. GlobalMedServices was highly recommended to us from the hospital. I reached out to Doug H. and explained the situation to him. As I said time was of the essence, and with one call Doug orchestrated the entire flight transportation. With this stressful situation he took the load off us. Everything from start to finish was remarkable. Continual communication and they were so caring. ****************** was a life saver for our family. **** was extremely patient and worked with us for over 6months until we were ready to move forward with the transfer. He found multiple itineraries, for multiple dates and did everything to accommodate our needs and set our minds at ease that they knew what they were doing. The transport of our frail and completely immobile stroke survivor from ***** to the *********** was flawless. They took care of everything from door to door. I couldn’t speak more highly of Global Med Services. My dad suddenly became seriously sick on vacation in the US, stranding him in a LA hospital. Doug was amazing to work with during this stressful time, he took care of everything and took the pressure off me. I felt at ease the whole trip back to New Zealand, our medic James was great and they successfully were able to repatriate my dad. Such a reliable company that genuinely cares and will be there for you every step of the way.

**** at GlobalMed helped repatriate my mother back to ******, ** all the way from *********. She has a neurological disease that impacts her mobility severely. I was very stressed about how everything would work with such a long journey ahead. **** was easy going, and knowledgeable since he has done this many times. This made my aunt and I at ease in selecting this company with the repatriation effort. **** took care of all the trip arrangements, and was able to steer transportation and airport staff in the right direction, since many people do not have" best practice knowledge" regarding transporting disabled people by plane. **** being a paramedic checked my mothers vitals during both flights, and on the second gave her some oxygen because her levels were a little low. All in all it was a successful trip, if you are looking for a reliable company I would recommend GlobalMed.GlobalMed Services, LLC Response

Doug was the paramedic who flew with my 86 year old Dad after being airlifted off of a cruise ship and flown by helicopter to Martinique. Without Doug's assistance, he would most likely still be in the hospital there. He is now safely back in Florida and undergoing a heart procedure today. Many thanks to Doug and the team at GlobalMed Services for your patience and calmness and getting Dad back home! To say that Doug is unflappable and an absolute professional is an understatement. Doug and the team helped us get my 86 year old Dad back to the US from Martinique after a cardiac event. Doug is a pro! We felt safe and supported throughout the very long journey. Doug coordinated ambulances, wheelchairs onto the planes, and everything else. We felt assured that Doug could do whatever was necessary to ensure his safe transportation. Leaving Mexico City for Detroit on Feb 27, 2022, I slipped backwards in the busy airport on to a cement floor breaking my right hip and right wrist in three places. It was necessary to have the surgery in Mexico and stabilize these serious injuries or we would never get back home. Each day we worked on healing but after two weeks it became clear that without expert help we might never get home and out of pocket costs continued to skyrocket. My cousin found Global online. He spoke with owner Doug and was impressed. While this service would add to my expenses, for what is offered, the price seems very fair, the service itself invaluable. Their representative, Andrew, flew in the day before, met with all the necessary people and with adept handling got us directly from the Mexico City hospital to the inside of the hospital in Detroit after meeting with the nursing staff there. Andrew was very knowledgeable and made sure that every detail of this trip went as smoothly as possible. I'm now in inpatient rehab for the rest of my healing and where I thankfully have insurance coverage again. While a friend came to help me in Mexico I believe we never would have made it without the help of Global Med Services.Review from Mercy S

Doug and the Global Med Services team are exceptional! My mum recently had a stroke in Mexico and Doug came to our rescue. From arranging all medical transports, to helping us navigate wheelchair travel all the way home to Vancouver BC, Doug made us feel supported and safe every step of the way. I hope to never have to use this service again, but I know I can trust them in the future if needed.
