I accidentally charged my friends card instead of my own. I asked them to refund the ladies' money and they are saying she has to wait 120 days. They should refund her money because this was not intentional. They using bad business practices.Business response

We did not charge the card, ****** ******* did that on his own. The student enters their own card information in the payment plan contract that we email to them after they agree to the warranties. We do not see the card information they are entering. After further investigation, the cardholder is his wife. There was no mention of waiting 120 days for a refund. There are no refunds issued unless student is in compliance with the warranties he agreed to on a recorded line and by signing and submitting payment, which he is not. The warranties are in effect for all of our students and must be followed as written.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
***** ****** is not my wife. While I do admit to knowing her, she one time used my computer to order something and that is how her information got in my computer. The business is lying about this issue because I did ask for a refund promptly when I realized the mistake on top of them committing financial fraud and not listing the full amount needed to pay for the schooling.. They are trying to say she is my wife in order to keep the money. This is what I explained to them multiple times in emails.
They are trying to keep her money because they are a fraudulent business and refuse to accept that I will not supply them with another card to commit fraud on.
In her reply to the email ***** ******** did not even address the issue of refunding Ms. ******** money back to the card. Ms. ******** is trying to hide behind a ************************************************************* ********************* see PDF email CBT Campus, LLC - Reply to mail; This proves she is lying and refusing to allow Ms. ****** to have her money back.
Please see attachment: Refund for Schooling: In the third paragraph, I explained I did not have permission to use the card.
Sincerely,
****** *******Initial Complaint

This company has been calling me for over 2 years at this point. I have spoken with them on several occasions telling them that I am not interested and to stop calling me. They even confirmed that I was removed from their calling list and that it would stop, yet today I received a call and a voicemail again. If someone tells you they no longer wish for you to call them, you NEED to stop calling them.Business response

They have been phone spamming me for years despite multiple verbal requests to stop and expressing that I'm not interested. I have no idea how they even got my number to begin with, but it wasn't from me. Its been something like 4 years now and they continue to call. Usually while im at work, which has caused problems for me in the past, for obvious reasons. Apparently, they are known for this sort of thing. And given so many people say they have asked them to quit calling, and still get calls, I have little hope that they ever will. I've blocked multiple numbers from them and they keep getting new numbers. We are getting ready to file legal action to make it stop. This violates spam/harassment laws in the **. Figured it was worth making a written note of on here and give them one last chance to quit calling me. *CBT Campus, I am formally requesting you, in writing, to STOP calling me. I will not ask again *Business response

I signed up in 2019 to get information about an A+ certification course through them, however decided it was not a good fit for me and passed. Since 2019 I have gotten a least 1 monthly sales call from them despite asking to be remove from their calling list multiple times.Business response

On 12/20/2022, I purchased the A+ certification course from CBT Direct, and on 12/21/2022 I emailed them to cancel. I've made a down payment of $199.85. *************************** responded that only the way to cancel is by evoking the warranty after having failed the course. I've read the cancellation policy which states on can cancel within 45 days, but it requires for the buyer to pay the entire price and CBT will return a refund minus $250.00. I can enroll in a university such as ******* and if I withdraw within a certain timeframe they'll refund my entire fee. Typically, most contracts can be cancelled within the first 72 hours. ************************ claim of the ONLY way of cancelling the contract is disingenuous. She just wants to run the clock.Business response

This company refuses to stop calling me. It's been roughly 4 years or more since I've initiated any form of contact with them and still to this day I receive voicemails (I've had their numbers blocked, but voicemails still come through) It's intrusive, and it's incredibly annoying. At times they've contacted me several days in a row and I'm tired of logging into my voicemail to delete messages from a company that has no business contacting me, as I've not even given them implied consent in over 4 years. My next complain will be made to the Canadian government under the Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). CASL requires businesses to have consent or contact from the consumer within the last 2 years, which we've very much surpassed.Business response

Business excessively calls, even after indicating no interest in their service. Several years ago I indicated I might be interested in their courses and they have since then continuously called my phone number, despite repeatedly asking them to stop contacting me.Business response
