I originally hired this company through the thumbtack website for a quick plumbing job in October of 2022. A week later in October of 2022 I contracted with Mr ********************** Handyman for a bathroom tile job (walls and door), portable A/C (delivery and installation) door installation for a total of $2400. I paid him a deposit of $800 and he started the work. Throughout the work he requested more of the money so I gave him another 1/3 of the money and since then a little more of the money. As the 1 week job dragged on to 3 weeks he became more and unprofessional (wanting to date me, attempting to make deals for my old pickup truck, working a 2-3 hours at a time, showing up later than scheduled etc) and stopped returning my calls to complete the work which is halfway completed. I have requested a refund for the floor tiling, grout work and door instillation. I have also requested a partial refund for the partially unfinished wall areas. At this point I would also like to have the money back for the incomplete A/C installation.
