We rented a property on Airbnb and drove 6 hours to Tampa to have a beautiful bungalow experience on a river and kayak, but this is not a bungalow in any way. The property did not look as nice as the post claimed; the property was full of code violations. These people would not return our money but making money renting this illegal structure and property as a business, and liable if anything happens, in addition to Air BNB. We had to stay that night that we arrived but left the very next day after seeing we were in a crack house looking place. This is false advertising. The place was clean and I did in fact tell the management company that the inside was not nearly as gross as the outside was. The canal is ********** like your pictures state, its literally next to canal discharge. River looks toxic. Property is against ************************* with disabilities act) If an elderly person or wheelchair person goes there it will not end nice. Both my mother and brother are disabled so I take this matter extremely seriously. My husband also works for the city and the minute he was on the property, he could not believe this fraud! They ruined my vacation and all I have wanted was for them to return my money because it was completely unfair as it was misrepresented. Instead, all my complaints have gone ignored and although Airbnb keeps writing me asking for feedback, when I contacted both the company posting the unit, and the management agency, I was told I was rude and harassing the management company. Basically, their rights are being protected, when they have a business that is running illegal place with code violations. Its really disgusting and I feel violated and disrespected in every way. I am a business owner myself and I would never want a dissatisfied customer. I want to make sure this is recorded since the management company is hiding behind the skirt of airbnb. I would also like the property post to be taken down until it meets code compliance.
