I contacted the business for service with a plugged air conditioning drain line for my rental 8/25/2022, there was a charge of $95 for the service call plus time for the repair. Two days later 8/27/2022 the condensation drain line was plugged again and I contacted them for service to get the line unplugged again. I was once again charged for a second service call ($95) for the same issue, line not draining.ON 8/29/2022 I called to get a copy of the invoice and told them I should not have to pay for 2 service calls for the same problem. I was told by **** that she didn't think so either and would look into it and call me later. I never received a call back from **** so I called her. I was told that if it was a weekday there is no second charge ($95) for a service call but since it was on the weekend I had to pay twice. I also received a letter (e-mail) from AC DC this afternoon stating that the initial repair (using nitrogen) sometimes results in reclogging the line which is what happened in this case. I would think that if the work they do has the potential to re-create the same problem they created there should np charge. This drain line has been in use for almost 4 years now and has always functioned properly when vacuumed out. They decided that it needed a strap which in the last 4 years it never needed before. It doesn't need a strap now and it never needed it before. I see this as an attempt to justify charging for a repair when they in fact created the problem that necessitated a second service call.I have several rentals and have had this issue several times before; the problem is always solved by removing the water without adding a strap until AC DC showed up. Had I been available I could have sucked the water out of the line with my own shop vac, which is really all it needed. This is a common occurrence (clogging) with AC drain lines.I want a refund of the $95 service call charge necessitated by their actions.
