I contracted to replace my roof with ********** in March of 2022. Roof was installed in August of 2022. The contract called for the replacement of Fasica boards as needed. Now, less than 2 years after the work was done, I have a completely rotten fascia board. You can see that it was covered with putty that has since started to wear off. I should not have a completely rotten fascia board in less than 2 years if it was properly replaced at the time. I have emailed **** three times now over the past two weeks requesting that he come and inspect and advise. He continues to tell me he will take a look at it but does not come out to inspect.Business response

Went to the house saw it was a ***** nail and filled hole with caulk. We have a warranty on the roof not on facia board.Customer response

**** and Son Construction completed the replacement of our roof on February 24. On April 16, a rainfall leaked through the roof and into our home through our hallway ceiling so I texted ************ On April 19, ******************** arrived, inspected the roof and stated he wanted to wait until it rained again so he could come over and look in the attic for where the leak was coming in from. I asked him if he could use our hose to spray the roof and look for the leak at that time but he declined.By May 1 it had rained two more times, causing more damage to our ceiling, and neither time did ***** ******* come over to look in the attic. I contacted **** on May 1 and he immediately sent over the ******* and a small crew and repaired the leak.However, they never finished the job (Im not sure what else they need to put on the roof) and didnt the tiles back up. I contacted ************ on May 4 (and included a photo) and again on May 7 requesting that his team complete the roof. He didnt respond to either request and it is now May 18 and the roof still isnt completed.I would like **** and Sons to not only complete the roof but also to prepare and paint our hallway ceiling where it had leaked in.Business response

We have been calling the owner, ****, directly regarding the covered lower roof by our front door, since April. We have sent him video while its raining of how much water is producing by the front entry. He has told us repeatedly that someone will be coming to check it out and for the last 5 months no one has come by. There should be no reason why water should be hitting the front entry over a covered patio. We feel it is within the roof and need for it to be fixed. If we have a hurricane with torrential down pours we will definitely have water come into our house via the front door. I tried uploading the video and i can not convert it. It is raining now so I took some photos which i have attached.Business response

THE PROBLEM HE HAS IS WITH THE GUTTERS. THE PERSON THAT DID THE GUTTERS HAS BEEN HARD TO GET BACK. I TALKED TO CUSTOMER AND SAID THAT I WAS GETTING SOMEONE ELSE TO COME OUT 9/26 OR 9/27.

I am rejecting this response because: he has been telling us this for 5 months! This has been going on since April we have been getting the same response they are coming and no one shows up. We have text messages of the responses that someone is coming. Latest one was my husband said you would think as the owner of the company you would come out and access the situation yourself and his response was yeah you would think. He hasnt sent anyone out so he assuming its the gutter but doesnt know this for a fact because he hasnt come by to look at it.

We went to house on Monday and install side splash. As soon as winter permits we will install tiles that we removed.Customer response
