I have used this store for many years. I have found their in-store personnel less than efficient.They auto-draft payment from my ************ account each month for pool maintenance in the amount of $130. They come each Monday.The first Monday of April I called them off as I was having the pool resurfaced. They were due to resume the second Monday in April. They didn't show up. The pool service tech is usually here NLT 8:30 AM. As he no-showed I called around 10 AM and was assured that he was out there and would be by. As he no showed later I called again early afternoon only to be told THEN that they do not service newly resurfaced pools for 4 weeks after being resurfaced. Note that the first few weeks of resurfacing is the most important time to correct chemicals and to brush pool bottom.Upon hearing this I terminated their services immediately via phone and hired another pool service who came that very day, again the next day and each week since. My proof that Pinch a Penny knew of my terminating their service is they did not show up the third Monday of April.I have emailed them twice requesting a refund and confirmation of them sending same. They have not answered either email. A message left with whoever answers the phone requesting a call back was never honored as well.I have cancelled the bank card they auto drafted to prevent any further charges from them.All I seek is a refund via check as I do not wish to have them have access to any of my bank information.Prior to filing a small claims case with the court system I ask your assistance here.A review of this store's Yelp ratings reveals an overall rating of only 2 stars with a multitude of 1 star ratings.Business response

The customer cancelled his bank card through the bank before a refund could be issued. He called the store and informed them of this, and a check was issued resolving the issue.Customer response
