I purchased a gold coin from PRC that arrived second week in December 2023, almost 2 weeks later than promised. In the beginning of February I returned the coin, as I was told by the salesperson I could return it at any time for them to rebuy as it was a rare collectible. Premier Rare Coins received the coin February 5th and contacted me that it had arrived. After a discussion with **** asking me if I would like other items to replace the coin, I said no and would just like my account to be recredited. **** said he would do it the next day and would call me the next day. He didn't call and I was not credited. I made more calls that week and no one was available to talk. Friday I got ***** on the phone who took over the case, and would not let me talk to any of the sales people I worked with. He was not wanting to help me out and said they would only take it back if I paid charges close to $350. I tried to negotiate for half when he became nasty, aggressive and belligerent. In a nutshell, he said he would send back the coin and he wasn't going to negotiate with me and hung up. I never got the coin back and the charge is still pending a third dispute with my banking institution. I have emailed the company a couple of times, called many times with no response from the company. ***** had told me on our only conversation that if I kept calling, he would file harassment charges against me. Looking at other complaints with this company, other also had problems with PRC responding to their calls and getting PCR to come to resolutions. At this point, Premier Rare Coins STILL in possession of the gold coin and they want me to pay for it as well. I had no success with my financial institution trying to resolve the issue as of yet as PRC is not addressing the issue. PCR lies about having the coin, referring to the original sales and using that to say they sent me the coin, refusing to admit they received it back, in spite of two people saying to me they got it back.Customer response

I was finally able to get hold of someone at Premier Rare Coins that I had worked with, *****. He knew nothing about the issue. He informed me that the man who caused all the trouble, *****, was no longer working there. ***** was able to talk to the owner and they sent me a check for most of the money I was owed. We can consider the issue closed, though I would still warn people to avoid working with this company. ***** was a marvelous help.

This business will not stop calling me despite them being told many many times to stop. They also keep changing their number so I will answer the phone.Business response

Premier Rare Coins works at the highest level.
that being said im not sure why people take the time to complain instead of actually just calling ,texting , or emailing us to give us the ability to do something. We are a small family owned business and we work our absolute hardest to be above the standard.our records show only 1 call that lasted 12s and was marked as not interested BECAUSE THEY JUST HUNG UP. I have now removed the file completely after seeing this.
by default this complaint is False. we have not changed our number, and were easily googleable and findable if needed. We have only called one time and was properly taken out. on top of that they never asked to stop they just hung up and then ran to BBB to make False complaints.
in a world full of bad stuff we should try to uplift and work with small business not try to hurt and lie about small business.Customer response
