1/22/24,contacted * Spg Crunch to determine how to initiate cancellation. Left msg & no returned call. 1/30/24,contacted * Spg Crunc & advised a mgr would call; no returned call. 2/7/24,contacted * Spg Crunch to again inquire & let them know my Amex had been compromised, card on file would not work for final payment. Advised by front desk that if I could not come into the branch, would need to mail a letter to a FL address to cancel & would hear 30 days. I sent the letter to the FL address requesting to cancel & never received a call.Started receiving calls up to 6x a day from overseas call center at all hours of the ************ including weekends.Have spoken w/ several individuals at call center, have indicated they have noted the account to waive late fees stacking up & could not help w/cancellation-noted letter in my file.4/10/24,was back in the area & went to the * Spgs Crunch.Spoke w/the manager ******, who is new & went through the situation. He was able to see notes in the system. Told him that I was happy to pay the outstanding balance of the membership, but had been told by the call-center late fees were waived, which he confirmed notes & that I would not pay an annual fee due to their delay in cxl my membership. I advised ****** that this feels like unfair, deceptive & abusive business sales practices, making it impossible to cancel a membership, add on fees while harassing customers for months. The area manager, ********************* was sitting nearby but could not be bothered to come over & discuss the situation. ****** walked over to him to advise; the situation like a car dealership negotiation. *here we are moving, does not have Crunch,I was told that I would now have to wait for the back office to look through all of the paperwork to contact me on 4/17/24. The still has not happened & I continue to be harassed by the overseas call center. I am in need of assistance at this point to get the membership canceled & settle on what is actually owed.

I signed up for CRUNCH, after a couple weeks I injured my ankle and was unable to work out. I called the gym and left a message for someone to call me back regarding termination of my monthly contract. I also emailed crunch with no response. Crunch eventually called me but to collect payment no other reason. So I email ones to one of the reps another time they called and he said he would take care of it. Crunch has called me over a hundred times and attempted to charge my card every single day for the past month even after speaking to a havent accented gentleman who told me he would take care it. At this point its beginning to become harassing.

I have attempted to close this membership for no less than 4 months because I have been getting charged for a service I do not use but this company refuses to do so! I have moved to another state but they are telling me the only way to cancel is to come into the same gym that I signed up with!! My annual membership was up 6 months ago so this is just plain ridiculous. I informed 5 employees to stop the membership and stop the harassing calls and they will not. The last employee told me to pay up or they will keep calling. This is wrong on so many levels and it’s absolutely ridiculous that there is not a way to cancel a membership that has run its course and that isn’t used!

My dispute is this; I thought after having a conversation several months ago with a woman who represented she is the manager explaining my situation that we could no longer utilize the facilities they'd cancel the memberships I had for my wife, daughter and myself. Although we signed up June (I think) 2022 we've never visited the gym once. Today, I saw once again the billing on my bank statement and called when I was told we do not cancel memberships over the phone you either come in person or mail a letter. We need your signature and when I asked if I do this are you refunding my May fees? he responded no, we do not refund money. I'm 800 miles away makes showing up at the front door difficult to cancel. I'll send the letter but this needs to go on the record the tactics used.

I moved from Winter Springs, Fl back home bc I was having issues with housing. I sent a cancellation request but was still getting monthly charges and had to block them on my account. I have been trying to cancel for months now and they are trying to get me to pay the next few months with the annual.

I was upsold on some training sessions. They told me I could cancel at any time without a fee. I got into some car problems so I tried to cancel but they told me I had to wait until the pay period was over. I did and asked my trainer to stop the classes. She said ok and agreed that I didn’t need the sessions anymore. I stopped being charged and everything was normal. Then today on 01/19/23 I went and they said I never canceled even though I did and again, ceased to be charged. They told me I owed $1,692.00 and that the charges could be dropped if I only paid $456.00. I said that it made no sense to pay for classes that I didn’t even take but I agreed to pay because I was in a rush as I had college classes after. I had to pay for school, my car broke down and I still have to pay for that as well as the credit card that they put me in debt to. I would like a refund for the $456.00 and no more extra charges other than the membership I already pay. The barcode# for the payment was: ********* and the agreement# **********. Please help me, I’ve tried to cancel multiple times and they just keep telling me to talk to other employees who end up just trying to up-sell me. Thank you

On 08/07/22 I personally drove to Crunch Fitness in Winter Springs to cancel my membership. I was told in July 2022 that I'd have 1 more charge which was the one at the end of July before I can cancel w/o penalties. So that is why I went on 08/07/22 to cancel. I was provided with a receipt (attached) indicating my cancel effective date is 08/30/22 and the guy told me that I could still use the gym until then. The confirmation of contract cancellation says that I had no balance due $0. On 08/31/22 I noticed another charge and I called the gym and spoke with a woman who said that I had one more payment which was due 08/30/22. I told her that's not correct based on the form signed and given to me by a gym employee shows cancel effective 08/30/22 and no balance due! I asked to speak with a manager as that is not what I had been provided with signature which is a valid document by the gym staff members. She said that she would refund the money. I received an email with a refund amount on 08/31/22. As of today, I had not received a refund to my account so I started a fraudulent charge investigation with my bank. Additionally, even though the card on file was changed, the gym still tried to charge a credit card I had changed on file when I signed up the first time. There was not enough funds and therefore was not paid. Thank goodness!!! Now I want this harassment to STOP!!! Stop this nonsense!!! You are trying to charge me for no reason. If this continues and you attempt to report me to credit bureaus I will seek legal action! You are currently doing the same thing to my partner by trying to charge him weekly!!! He also has the same exact document showing he owes $0 balance to you but you continue to harass him. I'm not him so you are not going to play this game with me. I don't have the patience for that. I will initiate legal action if this does not stop immediately and if you try to charge me again to report to bureaus.

Opened membership on 6/2. Was charged a $1.07 fee for the "first 30 days". They used a card that was auto filled by my computer ending in ****. Went to the gym on 6/3 & realized that they had an invalid card #, & updated it to my card ****. I advised that this card should be used for monthly payments. On 6/6, I was charged $24.60. I reached out to the gym as the promotion I signed up for said the first 30 days would be $1.07. The representative stated that the deal expired on 6/2 (the day I signed up), so that I had to pay for the full month. On 7/13, I was charged $39.60, they stated that my payment was late as they attempted to use the card ending in **** AGAIN. I once again made a payment in the gym & advised payments should be made from the card ending in ****. On 8/3 I was charged the "annual fee" of $53.49, & on 8/10 I was charged $24.60 (payment made late ONCE AGAIN as the gym used the old card.) There is no way to remove the card information from the website, & I have manually added the correct card (****), & went to the gym & updated the payment info again. On 9/6, another payment of $24.60 came out my account again. I had spoken to a rep two weeks prior & was told I had to have a membership for 90 days before canceling. This was my "third payment within the 90 day period", so I went in & canceled my membership. The customer service rep stated that my membership would be canceled effective 9/8, and I had until 10/7 to use the facilities. I signed the form & left. The next day the rep called me & stated that she "thought they were within the 30 days to cancel the membership", so that I still had to pay another bill on 10/6 (due to them ONCE AGAIN using the wrong card) then the membership would be canceled. I have paid 176.89 to this gym. I do not want to pay another month. I canceled due to moving to a city that does not have crunch. I do not want to billed. I don't even want a refund, just my account canceled immediately without billing another payment.
