In February of 2024, Presidential Pools began a $370K project for us that included a pool renovation, tiki hut, pavers, screen, etc. This was a really exciting renovation for us and in the beginning Presidential Pools was really engaged. In February 2024, they demo'd our pool and by May 2024 had completed the Pool shell. That allowed them to collect over 50% of their fee. However, since May 2024 (It is now November 8, 2024) they have worked a total of 7.5 days on the project (Out of 180 calendar days). This work has included 5 days of one guy with a shovel, 3 - 1/2 days of 3 guys and a bobcat to spread dirt and sand, and 1 day of one guy installing tile. They have been non-responsive; especially ownership. Ownership had direct responsibility for getting the tiki hut sub on board (Per their PM) and it still has not been done. Ultimately, this experience lends us to believe that Presidential Pools ownership either does not care or lacks the competence to finish a job of this size. The biggest issue with all of this is that there is nowhere to go. If ownership either does not care or is incompetent, who do you talk to?

Beware of what the company says in its mission statement to customers versus what you get.We went under contract at the beginning of March 2024 and paid our deposit at that time. The salesperson ***** was friendly enough and eager to get us into the showroom to pick stuff out. On our trip to the showroom we met the owner **** who seemed like a decent guy and was excited to have our business. That was about the only positive experience we had.Fast forward to our project finally being completed mid-June and after having a new project manager assigned and our pool sitting empty and no work done for almost 6 weeks, we had a finished product. However we never had a final walkthrough before the plaster because our PM said we would be moved from the schedule yet again so not instruction was given on what to do after the plaster.A contracted company came to do the plaster on a Friday and Saturday. Ironically, the salesperson said that they did NOT contract work which actually was untrue. We tried to reach our project manager and also the construction manager on the Saturday as we had questions prior to firing up. No one answered. We filled the pool.There were coloration issues that Presidential tried to blame us for even though no one came to do a final walkthrough. After going back and forth for a few days and having the plaster contractor come out to look, a decision was made to wet acid wash the pool. We had to be out of town during this process and when we arrived home in mid-July, there was excess sediment all in the pool from the acid wash process. Upon trying to reach out to presidential, we were told it was now a warranty issue. We reached out to warranty and have not had any follow up.Additionally, we have requested a release for a notice to owner we received from one of their contractors multiple times and have not received it. Did they pay that contractor or not?This could have been easily taken care of if they just finished the job.

Can't say enough about this great company (Presidential Pools and Spas). Their service is reliable and communication is easy. **** ****** (Project Manager) is very professional and on top of his game. He was always responsive to our pool construction. He and his team are top notch. Very happy with my choice. I highly recommend them!

BUYERS REMORSE.In 6 days, we will have hit the 12 week **** on this project and we have nothing to show for it but a Presidential advertisement in our front yard and an eyesore in the back yard. We have done everything asked of us in a proficient and timely manner even when faced with an unexpected hospital stay. From the beginning we notified Presidential know we had to have phase 1 done by 6/11 and we were assured it would be done well before that. Now we are at risk of losing our loan and having to restart that process over again. They have been nothing but excuses since we signed the contract. It took 2 week for us to get a fully executed contract. Their permit process had to go back to the permitting 2 time just to put on the plans that shrubs ***************** the pool equipment that will be behind an AC unit already there. Now we have the sod scrape and forms done and waiting so long that the grass is starting to grow back. This lack of communication and progress is really unacceptable and is not at all what we signed up for. We need something actionable at this time.
