We filed a civil suit in Nassau County for money paid as a deposit for hurricane protection shades. We have been provided with a judgement for the deposit plus our expenses getting to this point. Do not do business with these people. They took our money but they would not take our calls or provide us with a refund for a job they could never get job done.

I called Stateline Home Services from an ad in the ************** for quote on an awning. *********************** came on July 2, 2022 and gave a quote that I accepted and we signed a contract. He wanted 1/2 payment to start the order. I wrote a personal check #*** off the **** for $2850.00. He cashed it on July 5, **** in *****, *******. The awning according to the contract was promised in August, 2022. I have repeatedly called for a promise of delivery. They never call me back. Now when I call it goes to voice mail and says the mailbox is full. I feel this is a scam and want to make sure everyone else is aware of this. I would like to get my money back or the awning. He is still advertising in the *************** Please me. I am a senior and cannot afford to lose this money because of some dishonest person. Thanks,

Signed contract June 15 2022 to supply and install Astro Guard Hurricane protection screens. Paid a 30% deposit. Promised installation by end of July. Could not get them to respond re: installation many many calls. Finally *** asked for return of deposit and called manufacturer who reports they have shipped my material to them, although have not been paid. So I called today 09/27/2022 talked to **** again and he claims they do not have product. This company installed gutters for me and father my recommendation for my neighbor. Both satisfactory installations. Something has happened not sure what but I will start legal proceedings today.

The did fantastic work on our home. The project manager, Paul, was knowledgeable and informed us of issues we did not realize. Martha and her crew did fantastic work and left us with a good job and super clean workspace.

Paid $740.00 to install gutter guard to one (1) existing gutter 29feet long according to scope of work which specifies gutter guard installed, gutters adjusted as needed to drain efficiently, gutter seams and joints caulked, and additional hanger brackets installed. Work area was to be clean of debris upon completion. First, I noticed fistfuls of caulking all over landscape gravel. Second, I could see lots of damage on my exterior wall from careless and unprotected extension ladder usage that was not there before. Upon inspecting the gutter guard afterward, I noticed it was only attached on the outside edge of the gutter and the two ends. Furthermore, the guard was sloppy and extremely loose as to cause it to rattle during any wind. Contacting Stateline by email gained no response and then received similar results by phone. After a week Stateline finally sent non- English-speaking crew of three, including a child who had no clue or ability to fix my concerns so were sent away. After more than a month from the original install a person identifying himself only as ***** arrived. After a laundry list of excuses as to why the gutter guard was installed as it was (steep roof, seams in gutter, drip edge, etc.) ***** put several dozen additional screws along the same edge as those already in place. ***** acknowledged the damaged wall. To date the gutter does not drain properly even after constant cleaning of the gutter guard. I have received quotes for properly adjusting and installing the gutter guard. In addition to the damages and the mess left behind, Stateline is less than professional and would not be recommended by me for any type of home services whatsoever. I find this company a complete waste of money and time.
