In September 2021 Lauren Rivera provided me with a detailed design plan for my Living Room, ******************* and Sunroom. I gave her the go ahead to proceed. She billed me for $16,139 for furniture (paid on 9/27/21) and $8,004 for drapery (paid on 9/28/21). At the time, she mentioned that it may take time for the delivery due to supply chain issues which I understood. She had also helped me get a contractor to refresh my kitchen. I sent her a text on 1/31/22 to let her know that the kitchen was done and that I was happy with it. She wrote back that she couldn't wait to see it and that it was still looking like the middle of the year for the install of everything else. That was the last I hear from her. I sent her a text on May 31st, again on July 18th and on August 15th. She has not responded to any of these texts. Then I called and left messages on August 19th, 20th, and 22nd. On August 22nd, I drove over to her office to see if I could see her. I discovered that she had closed her office in February 2022. I contacted the rental agent who provided Lauren's home address. I sent her an e-mail demanding action on August 22nd, 2022 and sent a copy of the e-mail to her home. I'm afraid that I have been scammed for $24,143.
