I am complaining about an erroneous report of my insurance risk assessment by Comprehensive Loss ********************** **** (C.L.U.E.) a division of LexisNexis. They are reporting that I have filed a mold claim on my house and that I have filed a theft claim. I never filed either of these. On the date of the mold claim, I called my insurance company to report a lightning strike at my home with the only damage being 2 TVs and a garage door opener, but did not submit and actual claim because it was below my deductible, according to my insurance company, Centauri, CLUE erroneously reported that as mold. The theft claim attributed to my name is for an address I never occupied and the name is spelled differently than mine. It is *******************************, I rarely use my full name but when I do I use *******************************. CLUE mistakenly reported mold instead of lightning/no fire and did not verify my name before fraudulently attaching a theft claim to my name. I tried calling CLUE, but you cant talk to anyone, everything is directed to an online report, which I have submitted with supporting documents, but they havent respondedBusiness response

I had a policy with progressive insurance and I decided to go to a different company because they were too high. Progressive sent information to LexisNexis that I had claims. Claims that were not my fault. Which LexisNexis is using against me to say that I am high risk. Progressive said they informed them that the accidents were not my fault. But LexisNexis has decided to show the information without proof that the accidents were not caused by me. I have asked them to do a security freeze but they are refusing to use my mailing address saying that their system doesnt recognize the address. The address is a legitimate mailing address where the post office delivers mail. I want them to stop publishing stuff about me that is not true. I want them to not be able to do this to anyone else because its not the full truth. I uploaded a legitimate letter mailed to me by social security as proof of my address and they are still refusing to freeze my files with them. They said on their website that we can ask them to freeze our information and I did and they are refusing saying that the address is not recognized in their system. That is not my problem its their own system my mail goes to the address I provided them.Business response

Purchased an air-conditioner from coolair on July 28.They offered 48 months financing with kwik comfort th amount was ******. Was denied that day..company would not give us ample time to look for financing, it was 104 here in ******* that day..had to put on credit card with extremely high. Interest.(elderly couple high pressured..Days later letter from lexis/nexis..Synchrony bank..stated reason..I WAS DECEASED!!.have spent over 2 months getting 5 national credit reports. All perfect credit..NEVER located a phone # for ************** after 17 phone numbers to no avail...**************** (who sold airconditioer) could NOT help me.Trying to get my DECEASED off my record, as I have retirement and Social Security checks to worry about..I have medical issues that this unprofessional Financial Agency's are making worse.Need To Reach someone to correct THEIR mistakes..Everyone keeps passing the buck.THANKS FOR ANY HELPBusiness response

Upon viewing my most recent consumer report, I saw bankruptcies that shouldn't be shown there.. And since I studied laws lately, I found out that you violated 15 U.S Code 1681 a (4) Consumer Right to privacy. Consumer Right to Privacy These Bankruptcies claims that it shouldn't be on my credit report and that you released my personal information without my consent.This is unacceptable! Im a victim of identity theft, you are criminally and CIVILLY LIABLE. If this complaint is not handled accordingly, I swear that I will seek legal action against you guys!Business response

Lexis Nexis consumer #******** ,case number ********. In the month of April 2023 ,I found two bankrupties on my consumer credit report.I contacted the bankruptsy court to verify why these unknown accounts was reporting on my credit file.The court stated they dont subscribe to the credit bureaus and didnt report the information.I contacted the credit bureaus again.I was then refered to Lexis Nexis.I sent in the court letter and police report and ftc report identifying the account was fraud and was inaccurate information.I wasnt aware how long this been reporting.I got a letter from Nexis Lexis on June 22,2023 regarding the disputed information.The letter stated it would be removed....I have not saw the 2 inaccurate accounts removed.Im not sure if the Lexis Nexis need to call *********** and have this removed immediately.I need this information removed immediately.Im trying to use my name.I keep clean credit and good scores.I dont feel this should go on without a suit for reporting incorrect information.Im giving 10 business days for this to be removed.I will file suit.Business response

LexisNexis called and emailed constantly with new promotions. "Try it for 6 months for free. We have great customer service and satisfaction." We have a new promotion for new law firms that I can get approved for you. Sign today. Send me these documents and I will get it approved for you. If you are not satisfied, you can opt out with 30 day notice."On June 21 after a 3-hour long Zoom call, I signed at 8:06pm. On June 22, I sent written notification to cancel the contract at 4:50am. I called at 8:08am, 10:12am, 2:27pm, 2:33pm, and 2:40pm requesting confirmation of the cancellation. I spoke with multiple LexisNexis agents KG, ******* etc. At 3:24pm, I received an email stating that ********************* was my account representative and to email him at *************************************** I emailed him requesting confirmation of the cancelled contract. No response. At 3:31pm, I received an email requesting my payment information. I once again replied "Cancel the contract." At 3:32pm, I received an email from ******************* refusing to cancel the agreement and telling me that I will "laugh at the $211 monthly rate a year from now." At 3:33pm, I received a "Welcome to LexisNexis: Important Next Steps for Research and Public Records." I once again replied "Cancel the contract." *******************, my "customer service" representative, finally returned my calls on June 27, 2023. I explained that I signed a contract relying on his promises that LexisNexis offers great customer support and satisfaction and the offer to terminate at anytime with 30 (thirty) days notice. I signed the contract on June 21st, and I immediately requested cancellation only to be completely ghosted by my "customer service" representative. ******************* informed me that the contract could be cancelled at the end of the free promotional period and that the contract could be terminated at the end of the one-year period as he has had other customers do so. To date, I have not received confirmation of the cancellation.Business response

Lexis Nexis is wrongly reporting my accident, which is causing my insurance to go up, I contacted Lexis Nexis on several occasions, the agents contacted were not *** based I explained them that Lexis Nexis has 2 -PIP and that the report is duplicated showing the same number twice and the values are split up instead of being consolidated as one ,this was confirmed by my insurance provider on an email sent to me showing the consolidated values and confirming it was only one no fault accident, The ******** which I am insured with ,sent me a letter saying that I cannot be insured because I have 2 accidents in 3years, this is causing my insurance premium to be higher than normal,I also informed The ******** but nothing is being done, thank you much for taking this report with hopes that it will be resolved.Business response

Hello and thank you for following up on my complaint, I received copies of the report #2 and #3 which details the errors which LexisNexis show on their reports, they said that the source of the information came from the ******** ,whom I am insured with, I have tried numerous times over a period of 4 weeks beginning in 04/24/2023 to date to correct this issue but is unable to do so ,spoke to several agents whom are unable to do anything, asked for the specific dept.that can speak to LexisNexis to correct this issue and no one can point me there, with the present faulty records with Lexus Nexus no insurance companies will offer me insurance at normal premiums and some will not even give me a policy, I have tested this by requesting a quote from ********, strange enough they replied by saying they cannot offer me insurance at this time because the record show I have more than 1- accident in 3 years ,this accident was a no fault accident on the 07/28/2023, I am sending you copies of the info, I want to thank you for your assistance.Business response

Hello and thank you for helping me with this issue, an agent at the Hartford contacted me on 06/23/2023 via my phone and said they are working with LexisNexis to help resolve the issue and they give a 3 weeks resolution window will you close this complaint or it will remain open until the resolution is completed and if so,do i have to open another complaint? **************** representative filled out an application for me without my consent to an application (he was supposed to only be finding a card that was suitable for my business) they then received information from lexis nexis that I was not a suitable customer. They submitted information about me and my credit that was not true. The credit score they submitted was lower, they stated that I had too many inquiries, I have less the four, they stated that I have derogatory public records which is not true, they also stated that I have many recent derogatory payments as agreed, I have 100% credit payments, I have very few inquiries, my credit history is more then just a couple of years.
