Went for my annual physical and got sick prior to going. Once the ** came in, I mentioned I have an upper respiratory issue and would also like for her to check that out while Im there. Was told I cant do that. When I asked why, the ** said I dont have time to check you for that. Youre scheduled for a 30 min. Physical and an office visit is 15 min. And I dont have time to be in here for 45 min. At that time, I checked my watch. My physical was complete 10 min. later when the ** asked if I had any other questions. I said I have 20 min left of my allotted time, can you check out my upper respiratory issue was told again no, I dont have time and I need to see other patients (even though I had 20 more min.) and that Id need to pay a co-pay for that type of visit. To which I said I was happy to pay a co-pay, but she still refused to treat me for that. At the end of the day, the assessment was basically completed during my physical, ie listen to lungs, look in ears, look at throat, but the ** could not take an additional 5 min. To tell me what was going on and prescribe an antibiotic (if she saw fit to do so). When I went to the front desk to try and schedule a walk-in visit to be assessed further, that same ** was up there chatting with the receptionist and not treating other patients.
