I received several text from different recruiters from Insight Global about a job offer. I responded to each of them. They all used each other as a reference to tell me I was referred to them for a job. I asked several times what the job *****'s. Finally I get an answer. Then when I start to ask normal questions, Im told to not rush and that I will be trained step by step on what to do. The job only requires a cell phone and Wi-Fi. I was being offered a job that they say only took 1hr each day to make $100-300 a day. Day 1 on the job, I was paid $74 after training that took 3 1/2 - 4hrs That was paid to my ****** account. The very next day, they asked for that same money back, but double the amount. After working from 9am -3pm , following the steps given by my so called Mentor Rere409 - I made it clear that I manage my time better. I had to wait on her to tell me what to do and I had not made a ***** for the additional 6hrs she so professionally wasted my time. Long story short it lead to me being asked to pay a debt that did not belong to me for $148 in order to continue my daily task. When I asked my so called Mentor Rere409: Why do I have to spend my money to pay a debt that doesnt belong to me to complete a daily task and get paid for the day. Her answer made zero sense at all. Then I asked for proof that I would be reimbursed at the end of the work day for my ************* response was why do I have to prove anything to you, If you dont trust the job, stop working.This was after investing the $74 I earned the first day for training. When they asked me for that back double the next day, thats when the red flags popped up. They are running some kind of money scam and I dont want any parts of it. I want my $74 earned from my training put back into my ****** account immediately!!!I was insulted and manipulated out of money I dont have to spare for this ************************** Respectfully,***** ******Insight Global, LLC Response

Be wary of sending any personal information to people you do not know. 2. Confirm the recruiter you're speaking to is verified on ********. You should see a small checkmark by their name on their profile. This means their work email address is a verified domain associated with the company they represent. 3. Do your research on the company website. We always welcome people contact us via the "contact" page to confirm a recruiter's employment if the job seeker is unsure. While Insight Global recruiters do communicate via text message, it is often paired with phone calls, interviews, and client interviews before extending job offers and contract details. Traveled 100 km and wasted 4 hrs of my working hrs for the company "Co-operators Insurance" interview on October 25th, 2024. 5 days passed, No feedback, No telephone call, or No email from the Insight Global Recruiter. I strongly believe they just called me to show candidates represented for a post. There should be a minimum ethics to convey a message that either the job is filled or on hold or I did not do better. Please dont make Canada like a 3rd world country. I will never ever work with the recruiting company "Insight Global"Insight Global, LLC Response

Got reached out to by one of their "HR ****** Told them i wasn't interested and questioned how they got my phone number, since I tend to not give up my contact information unless it's absolutely needed. They continuously lied about how they got the information, changing the subject/story multiple times. It's very likely that they are breaching data security laws if that's how dedicated they are to avoiding the truth. They also refused to leave me alone and continued to harass me after telling them multiple times that I was not interested and that I would be reporting them.Review from Jordon L

Global Insight employees have a very hard time being forthright,. and properly explaining their capabilities. I was originally contacted on February 8th 2024 for a TSMC - Process Technician position. They reviewed my resume and thought I would be a good fit. Global Insight setup multiple phone calls, had me send in my professional references, and sent me an "acceptance email," saying I was accepted for an interview. When it came time to do the interview, they did not even have the capabilities of getting me setup with TSMC for the same.I was then contacted again on May first for a position at **** as a claims adjuster. We did the process again. 3 separate calls, they contacted my professional references, Sent me a faux email saying I was "accepted," and that I would be receiving an email next week to schedule my in person interview. Next week arrived and I sent an email questioning why I haven't had an interview setup, if they were doing interviews this week. I was sent a response saying they are still waiting to hear back from ****. Again, they did not have the capabilities to schedule with USAA for an interview, and my time was wasted. I then spoke to a separate company named ****** who actually won the bid for USAA hiring. So it turns out Global Insight had me go through their whole hiring process, prior to even getting a contract. This is absolutely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I asked about getting the interview set, instead of coming clean and saying they didn't get the contract they decided to just pretend like they haven't heard anything from ****.Review from Richard O

I like IG a lot but I feel if they can't get in 1 job the recruiter calls you for, they disappear. I have noticed this behavior among all companies not just IG. I want IG to do better by trying a little bit harder (25%-50%) to get me a job. I have all the desirable skills but just feel they are not trying to work with me enough to get me my next job.Review from Anglea W

I enjoyed my assignment and appreciated the "open door" approach the account manager had with **** did not appreciate the ********** team and not being flexible on my wish to keep my intellectual property guarded unless I had a face to face with a hiring manager for another potential assignment.I also like IG's benefits and digital infrastructure.If there was one negative...I dont think the tasks required had been fully vetted. As a senior level tech writer I am very selective in the assignments I accept.I would definitely work for IG again.Review from Joshua H

Probably one of the worst experiences I've had getting a job. During the interview process I specifically mentioned a concern that has been an issue in the past and it's severity was blown off with a casual suggestion. Well I got fired for that exact concern one month later. You think I would know my own history better than you which is why I brought it to your attention beforehand. On top of that I was charged for benefits in my last paycheck wherein the benefits expired before I even submitted that paycheck essentially charging me for nothing.Insight Global, LLC Response
