On October 20, 2021, I assisted my daughter, *******************, with the purchase of a set of bedroom furniture from Horizon Home Furniture in *******. This was the nearest store to us that we could find that carried the brand of furniture she wanted (Modus). In January 2022, we rented a Uhaul and drove to ******* to pick up the furniture upon it's arrival from the factory. We requested the furniture to be unboxed at the store so we could make sure there was no damage. However, we were assured by the manager, ***********************, that that was not necessary and if there was any damage upon our opening it at home, it would be resolved. Upon opening it at home, we found quite a large scratch on the dresser. I contacted **** and was assured the dresser would be replaced. It's a year now, and we are still waiting on the replacement. I have contacted **** many times over the course of the year and been told he's waiting on it from the factory. I allowed plenty of time, yet I cannot believe that any piece of furniture takes a full year to produce and ship from anywhere in the world. The piece is the Modus Paragon dresser without mirror in black.
