Do not buy a home built by Pulte Group. We've had an issue with our kitchen window since we moved in. Despite us reaching multiple times, the issue still hasn't been resolved. The last time the contractor told us, unfortunately, it's about as good as it's going to get. I just called their warranty division and was told it's too late because the two-year warranty expired in September. So, despite us raising this concern at the one-year **** and subsequently, they've now washed their hands completely from the issue. From our experience, Pulte will do the bare minimum in an effort to scrape every ***** out of their homes. Again, DO NOT BUY a home from Pulte.Review from Molly L

Pulte build 2016/2017. Second owners. The roof, fascia, and soffit need extreme repairs. Working w/ multiple contractors. All who state these issues were missed in the original inspection and were not completed to code at the time of build. Looking at large repair costs in the 5 figure area. Trash build. DO NOT BUY A PULTE HOME!!!!!!!Pulte Group Response

Pulte installed our flooring in the first floor before the A/C was operational in the middle of Georgia summer heat. As a result, the floors were completely warped and needed to be replaced. Subsequently, the subcontractor ground down the slab in multiple places making it uneven throughout. The second floor had high spots and low spots (hollow spots) throughout. After battling with Pulte over months, we finally convinced them to rip up a few boards to see for themselves. The flooring subcontractor admitted that they needed to replace the entire floor because the wrong glue was used and not enough of it was put down. I STRONGLY advised Pulte to utilize an underlayment to rectify the issue that THEY created. My concerns were ignored and now, having lived in the home two years, I am being told that my warranty period has expired and they refuse to take ownership of the problem they created.Pulte hires the cheapest subcontractors available, overloads unqualified project managers with too many homes, cranks construction out as fast as possible with no regard for quality, and attempts to get past the warranty period with as little cost to their company as possible. Do NOT signup for a Pulte home. This is a dishonest business ran by people who do not care about building a quality home. STAY AWAY. Find a small, local or regional homebuilder instead.Pulte Group Response

THERE NEEDS TO BE ANOTHER CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AGAINST PULTE! Every single Pulte homeowner I have spoken to in my development has had issues. The Pulte guarantee is you will have issues too! The list of what they did wrong with my house is too long to list, but let me list a couple of highlights. Garage door chain guide rail coming down, garage pulley system ripping out the wall, garage door trims warped and cracking (true for many around my development and Pulte refuses to fix), insulation missing in critical places, incorrect HVAC registers installed/facing wrong direction, improper air balance, architectural fixture over entryway coming out of stucco (took them a few times to fix this one), warped Dr **** walls, warped kitchen cabinets, mirrors that bleed their ink serial numbers, holes and cracks throughout stucco, master shower built incorrectly causing a lack of insulation behind, striker plates on most doors installed incorrectly, driveway concrete cracked, severe backyard flooding, all to name a few!Pulte Group Response

To say our first home build experience has been a nightmare would be an understatement. We have gone through 3 to 4 warranty managers in less than 3 years. We never had a final walk through inspection before we closed. After we closed, they used our house as a model to show to new customers and found people in our home when we showed up to move in. Dip can found in our vent by one of our toddlers. Our first week in the house when we moved in February of '22, heat went out due to a s**** touching the board on the heating unit. HVAC *** said our furnace was full of drywall dust and needed cleaned. Pulte fought us on who was responsible for paying for the vent cleaning service. When summer time came around that year, found that our AC was never hooked up to electric. Our ground wire was exposed and sticking out in our yard roughly 6 feet away from the home. Master bathroom has been a disaster trying to get repaired. Tile work is awful with nothing straight and wall pushing tile out around bathtub. Master toilet is so close to the wall that you cannot sit on straight. The craftsmanship throughout the house that Pulte prides themselves on is terrible. Trying to get in touch with our warranty manager is on a week to week basis and only done through email. Most of the time I have to go through the **************** *** to get in touch. Most of our family and friends who have seen our house know that Pulte is not a company to build a house with.Pulte Group Response

During the construction of our home the builders made several mistakes on the roof. There are nails driven thru the tiles and the stack near the fireplace has water leaking inside of our new home. Pulte will not come out to look at the roof and the customer service has been terrible.Pulte Group Response

I had a horrible experience with a sales rep at Pulte homes in **********, ** off of **********************. The sales rep was an older white male. I believe his name was ***. He told me he would show me a model but he did not. He was rude and condescending. He lacks customer service skills.Review from Anthony S

We had a new home built in ********, **. The underwriting department for Pulte Mortgage had all of our banking information and questioned a deposit, the deposit was part of a legal settlement and I was court ordered with a confidentiality agreement to not discuss anything about the settlement or the case. The deposit was clearly in our account, it clearly said who it was from and who it was for. Pulte Mortgage underwriting insisted they needed more information, which there was no legal need, in fact by repeatedly asking for information about a court ordered confidentiality agreement they were literally asking me to break the law. If I could leave a negative star rating I would, I would not recommend Pulte Mortgage.Review from Nicole P

I havent been in my home quite 3 years yet. They offer not help or try to even act as they care. Submitted a ticket as requested after calling the after hours number. They call back and leave no message or try to call back. Had to call for a second time to get someone to call me back. Once talking to them they say that because its the sprinkler system that its not cover by the warranty just like the deck. The pipe under the ground was glued together properly and that is why it broke. I have to own that cost and the water bill. If they have quality then they should own what they sub contract out to other companies.
