I pay 1 full year for workers comp with AmTrust for the business I'm working on growing, and I got a better deal with a new carrier and decided to cancel AmTrust, and I moved to the new carrier before my policy expired with AmTrust. I notified AmTrust a month in advance and I got email saying that I could not canceled without proof of new policys declaration page which took me a few days to get as I had pay in advance for new worker comp carrier to start the date AmTrust expired. Now they are asking for an audit which they claim they can request 3 years from now even though I won't be insured with AmTrust. Amtrust took $277 out of my business without any warning after the due date of the cancelation, and I email them with an attachment saying (stolen money) and I'm waiting to see what the charge is for because the policy I paid it in full for 1 year and I got the new carrier before current policy expired with AmTrust. AmTrust even claims I will have to pay a premium after the audit, and they are taking the hard earning money out my business account. I have followed up with my CPA to get his help with what AmTrust is asking for the audit. If I could share emails and screen shots here, I would cause this is bad business and Amtrust is making money at the cost of my business. Also, I'm going to my bank to stop the money withdrawing out of my business account which show as loans (***)
