My wife just canceled her add-on account to my account after I was finally told the reason my credit card has been charged for the last 32 months was for HER massages. I was also told there were no refunds. I canceled my account back in 2019 when my wife became pregnant and we moved to *******. However, my card kept being charged. I called and emailed this location in December 2019 and May 2020 asking them why my card was being charged after I canceled and to stop charging my card since I had no financial obligation to them after I canceled. They said my account had been canceled and then kept charging me. My card racked up over 30 months worth of charges for my wife's massages, which she knew nothing about since they were not on her card. I called yet again a couple of weeks ago and ******************************* finally admitted the charges were for my wife's add-on account to mine and that my wife had to fill out a separate cancellation form and there were no refunds. ******************************* told me they had no obligation to tell me the charges were for my add-on account and that my wife had to fill out a cancellation form or I would keep being charged for her massages - even though my financial obligation to Massage Envy ceased back in 2019. It was the responsibility of Massage Envy to tell me what was being charged on my card when I asked and how to stop the charges when I asked. Further, it was their responsibility to stop charging me when my financial obligation ceased and when I told them to stop. When I canceled, the ***************** location should have frozen my wife's add-on account and requested another form of payment from her. Now we have over 30 credits that we don't want. The only option given to us was to use the credits within 120 days. In order to do that, we will have to spend substantial money to tip for each massage and a substantial time commitment within this short time frame. We made it clear we wanted a refund for the unauthorized charges.
