I just received a call from this company seeking employment verification. When she told me who it was, I was shocked! The employee passed away years ago. When I asked her why would a deceased person be seeking employment verification? She said she can't disclose any information, they are only seeking employment verification. I find this weird! Really seemed fishy. Before I can asked more questions, the lady on the other line was quick to end the call.Review from JENNIFER A

I don't know who this company is or why they are contacting my previous/current employer for employment verification. I tried calling the number and using the verification ext. and it goes to a message stating there was a application error and a busy signal. I also tried to do it on the website and it goes to a error screen full of numbers and letters. I have not applied for any loan or filled any applications out or have any debt pending so why does this company have my name last 4 of my social and emailing my company about verifying my employment. I hope this company has a actual reason for asking for this information and not answer this with a automated response. I have the email that was sent to the company with the reference #. I hope more people come forward if this company is doing this to them.Review from Tracy W

This company keeps repeatedly calling harassing us for employment verification for one of our employees. They never give a signed authorization for the said employee showing that they are legally able to ask for this information. We actually reached out to our employee first before providing this company with any information and the employee let us know that they hadnt applied for anything that would result in an employment verification. We keep telling this company that we will not provide information unless they can somehow provide a document showing they are legally able to ask for this information. However, they keep calling and calling to no end. This is definitely a fraud company asking for information that they clearly dont need to have access to.RNN Group, Inc Response

Not to be confused with RNN GROUP **, a completely different entity.RNN GROUP based in ATL seems to be a legit business, but their practices seem unprofessional, if this is actually the company trying to make contact.Looked at some Indeed employee reviews talk about cold calling , terrible management, overworked, meeting KPIs, etc. Received 1 fax and 2 emails. The fax asked for previous employment for someone I have never heard of. The 2 emails only had two sentences with no information. The 2 emails had suspicious *** attachments. The *** contains an active link. Looks like an API link. Not touching something that looks like scam bait, legit company or not. At first, I thought it was a fake email using the company's name. But now I'm not sure, as I look at the other reviews here and on Revdex.com. Majority of the reviews seem to be calls and faxes. If these emails are truly from the company, you need to compose proper emails. The ones I got look shady AF. I refuse to take that chance and potentially get phished or malware/ransonwared.I understand the need to verify employment and get information, but the emails offer nothing to show that you are who you say you are nor any valid and/or relevant information to help your cause. Currently looks like something a bot or phishing algorithm created.RNN Group, Inc Response

RNN seems like it can't possibly be a legitimate business. Called my business 20 times over 2 weeks to "verify full-time employment." I don't have full-time employees and never have. They then wanted to verify my DOB as the owner, but gave me the wrong DOB. They called again the next week to now verify my SSN, but gave the wrong SSN. They know my business name and phone number, but somehow have the wrong owner listed and want to verify information that doesn't exist. They want all the information, but provide almost zero information expecting us to blindly trust that everything is legitimate. Makes no sense. They need to be looked into. I told them if they want any further information, they can submit it in writing and I'll have my attorney review it.RNN Group, Inc Response
