Seems they are running a scam by double billing people. I told them I already paid my bill the day of my service, and they sent off the duplicate bill to collections in a hurry. The law should shut this place down.Review from Liz S

Fraudulent billing practices. Theyve recently tried to double bill me for charges paid a year ago.Review from Steve K

Mercy gohealth urgent care billing department is located in ***************. If you have a billing problem you can only talk to these people, they can't speak English very well and are hard to understand. If you over pay a bill it will be a nightmare getting a refund. They will give you all kinds of excuses to delay the process. We have been dealing with this for months now with no success. If you call the **************** in ******* ******* you will get a recording and no return call.Horrible service from Corporate and their billing department!!!Review from Melissa S.

Ive used the same facility in ********** **, three times in 2 years. The on-site staff seem professional but twice they have incorrectly coded the insurance claim as an Emergency Room visit instead of an *********** facility. This misleads the insurance company who, of course, believes the patient visited an ER. By misrepresenting themselves as an ER vs ***********, the insurance company pays more and the patient subsequently pays more out of pocket. For example, my copay is $35 for urgent care / doctor visit, which I paid at initial appointment. Yesterday, I received a $250 invoice with a notice that my credit card would be charged within 3 days (suspicious). I immediately called my insurance (BCBS/Anthem) who stated they received a claim for an ER visit and they had to make 4 calls to Mercy-Go before Mercy-Go confirmed the code they filed was incorrect and agreed to re-file with the insurance company using the correct code, cancel the $250 patient charge and retract the patient pay agreement. My insurance company had to fight for me. Last year it was the same exact thing (misrepresented themselves as an ER) except my CC was charged so I had to deny charges through the credit card company, made numerous calls to BCBS and Mercy-Go and had 4 months of aggravation before being fully refunded. Please monitor your invoices and accounts if using Mercy-Go. There are tons of complaints like this on the internet about this company. This is shady business practice and should be investigated. Ill never be back.Review from Kate A

I went to Mercy Go and received such terrible incompetent service that I had to go to the competing Urgent Care across the street. If that wasn't bad enough, they billed me for an emergency room visit even though I went to the Mercy Go Urgent Care and NOT the hospital.I attempted multiple times for them to fix their bill to change the code from an emergency room visit to an urgent care visit, but they refused. I got our health insurance involved and they agreed that it should be billed for an urgent care visit, and not an emergency room visit. They still refused to change it and kept referring me to someone else to call who would pretend to fix it but then never actually fix it.While I really should not be charged for anything since they were so incompetent and provided no value, the fact they won't fix their bill from emergency room visit to urgent care visit is FRAUD! It has been six months since that visit and they still refuse to fix it!Review from Nick F

I was erroneously charged $250.00 on my most recent bank statement by Go Health Urgent Care. I called the Go Health Urgent Care ****************** at (650) ******** and I spoke with *****. ***** informed me that Go Health Urgent Care had not billed my insurance, for which this service would be covered 100%. I asked ***** from the billing department for a refund since they failed to bill my insurance. ***** informed me that they would not be issuing a refund and that I would need to wait. ***** days after they bill my insurance (for the first time) before they would issue a refund. This policy is reprehensible and I would argue illegal to charge someone erroneously and then not correct the mistake. This has been a terrible customer experience and I would recommend that everyone check their bank statements and credit card history to ensure that they are not being inappropriately charged by Go Health Urgent Care.Review from Ben N

I want to bring attention to a truly egregious error on the part of the **** medical provider (Not writing his name for now) at this location! My wife went to this urgent care last month for a UTI and two things went wrong. First, they did not even check the medical history and conducted a pregnancy test on my wife. It was in her medical records that she had a bilateral hysterectomy done at the ************** (it is in the Med history) and this is a Mercy Go health Urgent Care. Now they are forcing us to pay for the test (I have made so many calls to billing department, but they can't remove this bill even though it was unwarranted). I tried talking to the team without able get to the FNP provider. Second, she gave a antibiotic (broad spectrum) and when culture results came and showed Klebsiella, FNP did not let us know that she needs a change in antibiotics. She suffered another UTI subsequently and billed again. This infection was a residual infection from her prior incidence and she suffered because someone didn't do their basic medical job properly. History taking and follow up when you have a new treatment changing information! I have to still give a star here as rating, as I couldn't proceed without giving one.Review from Shelly R

Im taking the time to write this for awareness. Ive been a nurse for 27 years and have NEVER had this experience. I had a sick kiddo and we arrived at the ********************* location at 805, checked in at the kiosk as there was ONE patient ahead of us. As we waited for them to finish getting the ONE patient registered we heard all about the ** and techs personal life.the front desk person I believe her name started w and L and she was an RT as it said on her badge. she NEVER once greeted us or said she would be with us momentarily etc. I waited 15 more min and went up to the desk and asked if there was anything I needed to to go ensure we are registered. she said she would need my insurance card and drivers license. I provided those and waited a min or so and she said 'anything else?' I said well I was just waiting for my cards back to put them in my wallet. she replies with NO eye contact and said 'ill give you the cards back when I'm done and I get you in a room...that will be a little while.' 45 mins later we are still not registered, still haven't been addressed and or asked why we are there. still ONE pt in a room and NO other pts have arrived. Finally I approached the desk to inquire on ETA for registration, another man walks in and she looks right past me and said my I help you sir....she takes care of him. Eventually, almost 50 mins after we arrived and checked in, I asked how much longer she thought it might be and she told me 'as long as it takes'....I was flabbergasted. I left and told her I would be contacting the director/VP. this behavior is outlandish, unprofessional and quite frankly disappointing to share the Mercy name. I took my son to the Urgent care in Imperial -closest to his grandparents. those folks were FANTASTIC. We were greeted, eye contact, made the interaction personal, tested, educated, and made to feel very comfortable. this location was even busier and still managed to do a great job!Review from Julie A

My physician assistant told me if I had any issues I was allowed w>th financial aid assistance 100 percent coverage to go to any mercy facility for help. The orthopedics physicians told me in one my last visits if knee or foot got worse I was allowed to be seen by a urgent care person any. Truth. Absolutely opposite severely refused all care by all. Someone needs fired misleading patients. It's ongoing problem.
