my complaint is this is going into week 3 and no pick-up of trash in mu neighborhood has occurred. Trash is piling up on every house in the subdivision that have services with Meridian Waste. You cannot call them or the corporate office because they want answer the phone. They have failed to contact residents in any way shape or form to tell why this has not happened. No call or email notification of nothing. Just straight up bad and terrible customer service is how I would describe this company and this is not the first time this has happened.Initial Complaint

I contracted with Meridian Waste for my residential trash pickup service. (Account # XX-XXXXXXX-X) I have been their customer for 2 years. I paid in advance for my quarterly trash pickup service on ********* in the amount of $ 61.03 which paid me up for three months. The last trash pickup I received was on *********** Two trash pick up service days were missed in December 2021. I called several times to complain and never received an answer. On January ** 2021 I received an e-mail stating that Meridian was no longer doing business in my area and that ************ would be picking up starting in January of 2022. As of today, January ** 2022 I have not received any trash pickup or any further communications. I would like a refund for the $61.03 I paid to Meridian Waste for service no received.Initial Complaint

Meridian waste is contracted ti perform weekly waste collection for our residence each Friday and has been since we moved into our home in Sept of 2020. Since that time they have been late providing services (excluding expected holiday delays) no less than 15 times and have skipped our residence entirely for the week at least 5 times. We have reached out to their business office repeatedly about the problem but our always given a recording about delays in our area. If and when we do receive a call back we are directed to call a mysterious corporate office but are never provided contact information for that office and that information is not available online for the public. We are changing services finally now that another provider is available to our area but want a refund for December for services not received since they only picked up once the entire month!Initial Complaint

Meridian Waste Company bills in advance which is normal for trash service. In the 9 months of doing business with them getting trash picked up on scheduled days has not happened. Repeated calls going to voicemail with no call back after leaving messages every time! I live in a neighborhood with an HOA and it is against our covenants to leave your receptacle at the street after pick up. It's now December *** 2021 and it's been 3 weeks since trash has been picked up. Overflowing at the street! This is unacceptable! There has got to be something that can be done to help the working families not have to fight to get the trash they have paid to be taken away removed!Initial Complaint

I've purchased garbage collection that is not being provided by Meridian Waste of Augusta going on the 3rd week. This has been an ongoing problem. I've contacted corporate abs the local office without resolution. I would like all weeks skipped/not picked up refunded and for Meridian Waste of Augusta to collect going on 3 week of garbage.l piled up in my front yard. I e called the local and corporate office only to get the run around. This is becoming a potential health and safety issue.Initial Complaint

In October and November, the agreed weekly Wednesday pickup stretched out until Friday or into the next week. There has been only one pickup in the month of December. We paid for weekly service for November and December and January and have not got what we paid for. We have a trashcan at the street now that has been out there over 2 1/2 weeks (the same with our neighbors). They do not return calls after leaving messages and they do not respond to emails. We need to know if they are going to pick up our trash or not. We also paid for services that we have not received. We need help.Initial Complaint

Meridian Waste has not pick up trash on our street for the last 2 weeks. Wife has called twice and was told they would pick up today ** Dec 21. Their truck picked up every street except ours and there is three homes that have their cans with the same issues. I called today and had to leave message. We would like for them to abide by their agreement with us and picking up trash once a week. They do a direct automatic draft to our credit card.Initial Complaint

I have paid for my service for three months. I am going on three weeks now and my Garbage still has not been picked up. I have been told via emails we are picking your garbage up today on three different days and the garbage never gets picked up. You can go through my neighborhood and see all the Meridian Garbage cans out at the road running over and garbage set on road beside can.Initial Complaint

We are asked to pay for trash service in advance for 3 months. So far in December the company has failed to pick up my trash for 2 weeks. A message was also sent over the Christmas holidays that service will not be interrupted since the holidays fell on a Saturday. As of today my trash is still on the street.
