First I would like to say that I hate that I even have to get the better business bureau involved. ************ is amazing and taking over the Austell Family Dental has been the best thing for the practice. I have been having a billing issue that is now ongoing for the last three years and just recently received a collection notice. This is completely unacceptable as the front office acknowledged that this bill was an error and even notated my account. What they have been doing is alternating saying that it is cleared and saying that I have a past due balance on different visits. Each time I address it they say don't worry and that they will get it fixed. I made multiple calls again asking for them to refer to their records once they started sending the same old bill. At a minimum of the last 5 calls, they didn't even return my calls. Instead they would send me an email invoice. When they sent me a text about a upcoming cleaning appointment, I called to cancel the appointment and said I would reschedule once the error was finally corrected. They again stated they would, but instead over this weekend I just received a notice from a collection agency. This is so disappointing because I love working with the Dentist. However, the lack of professionalism and integrity at the front office is not ok. It baffles me that they are willing to lose an entire family of clients versus just fixing their error. Mistakes happen, how we handle them speaks to our character and integrity.
