I had purchased a 2022 corvette from gravity auto sales still under manufacturer warranty, come to find out the power train warranty had been voided, Gravity auto sales sold a misrepresentation of the car and they didnt do there proper due diligence on the car before they sold it. Now ***** miles later the car needs a new transmission and the warranty wont cover it.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: I *************************** am submitting another response to the one from Gravity Auto Sales stating for ***** to give him a call, during our conversation he advise me that they will not help due to thats how they(The dealership) purchased car, I advised that I purchased the car still under manufacturer warranty, and I shouldnt be liable for you guys misrepresenting selling the car, due to there negligence on not properly diagnosing the car bumper to bumper to find out that the warranty was voided due to lack of maintenance at 7500 miles. ***** advised I would lose in court if I would proceed with a lawsuit

Sorry you disagree with our decision. All used cars sold in the ** are sold AS-IS. Unless you buy an extended service contract. This covers repairs.
Unfortunately, you did not buy this contract.
This is from Georgia's website....
"Check out the vehicle thoroughly. This is very important, because all vehicles are sold AS IS unless otherwise specified in writing. As is means NO warranty, and verbal promises may not apply. Unless you have a specific written promise or purchase a service contract, the seller may not be liable for any problems the vehicle has, or for any repairs it may need, once you sign a purchase agreement."

Since the vehicle was in an accident as well, this could have cause the issue.

I am rejecting this response because: you clearly stated you sold the car AS-IS but still under manufacture warranty, No the car is not under manufacture warranty and that is why I am in this situation now. You didnt do the due diligence before selling me the car, you misrepresented selling a car as is under manufacture warranty and it is not! Theres no accountability and by the looks of the bbb reviews you guys stay getting over on your customers, you misrepresented selling a car under manufacture warranty, knowing the the warranty has been voided before I bought the car from you. The pain and suffering should be enough of a lawsuit on top of selling a car with no transmission warranty and saying it is still under warranty you guys are a joke.

I purchased a car from the ***** springs location. The car was dropped off to me. Once I received the vehicle I inspected it and noticed the from bumper lip was damaged. The next morning I further inspected the vehicle and noticed several scratches and dents. I am very unsatisfied with the sales man. The picture he send me was nothing like the condition of the car when I received it. I would like ownership to contact me about this matter. I was told to take to get estimates for repairs here and I had got two estimates for different body shops and the both were around 5k. I am very unset with this purchase and the salesman has completely ignored me and gravity is giving me the complete run around like they didnt know this vehicle was like this before the sold it to me. I purchased a 2020 Dodge Charger from Gravity Autos Atlanta in August of 2023. I was then sold a few options, one of them being that they would provide and install a vehicle tracker/GPS within the car with a 3 year subscription.I have to this date not received any of the information needed to access this tracking unit. I have reached out to numerous people ****, ***, and the managers **** and ****** and have not received any correspondence back except from *** who is unable to help in this situation. I figured I would try to reach out to the tracker company myself in an effort to retrieve this information. In finding the tracking unit installed within the car it was found that it was not the "Peak Defender GPS" unit that they told me they installed within the car but rather the "Ruptela Trace 5" unit which makes no difference to me as they both do the same thing. However, in reaching out to Ruptela it sounds like this unit was stolen? I have the emails from the manufacturer stating so (See the uploaded email).At this point, I would either like the information I have been requesting so that I can access the unit for its intended purpose that I have paid for. Or to have them return the $673 I paid for this option.Business response

Gravity Autos Atlanta is refusing to send me back my deposit on a car of $14,636.46. They first sent me an email detailing the ************* of a *** 760i on 12/6/23 and that was when I noticed that the car did not have a feature that I was looking for, automatic doors. When I called the sales consultant, **************, he said that the car definitely had that feature. He then went to check it and called me back stating that it didn't. I told him I would have to convene with my fiancee about it. When I called him back, I told him that I did not want the car without it. This spurred a multitude of unprofessional telephone communications from ****, who was yelling through the phone at me several times. He boasted that he just sold a ********, that the process is done, they wont reroll the deposit, that the car has been off the lot for 2 weeks, they turned down 3 customers in a matter of days (all of whom had gone on to complete and report buying other cars elsewhere), and they need to feed their children. This was repeated several times in a yelling manner through the phone, often times cutting me off when I tried to talk to them. I told them I will talk to a lawyer and **** said Go ahead, I welcome talking to your lawyer. I emailed them a letter of cancellation of business (per Attorney General website guidelines) on 12/9/23 and gave them 3 business days to reply. They did not reply to my letter and I still do not have my deposit back. Attempts to contact any manager/director results in me being forwarded to a telephone that rings until the line drops.They also sent me an email detailing another car that had this feature they just received in stock on 12/9/23.The way they dealt with me after saying I want the deposit back was emotional and unprofessional, and the tactics they used felt predatory and manipulative in trying to scare me into completing the sale.The car was reflected as sold, and then removed. I am rejecting this response because:I have been in contact with *************************** at ************, and he has been working with me to get my refund since last Wednesday 12/20/23. However, Gravity Autos Atlanta still has not sent me my deposit even though they said they were going to do it since last Monday.
The individual that contacted me last Monday was **** from Gravity Autos Atlanta. He said he would prepare my check and *********** overnight in order to have a tracking number so I could have it, and would send me a picture of the check to my cell. He did not that day, nor did he send me anything on Tuesday. I had to call him back on Wednesday and he said he had to wait for a signature from his manager, and that his manager would come in the following day, Thursday. This was when I contacted ******************** and he said he would reach out to ****. When ******************** called me back, he told me the same thing, and that **** would not lie to him.
Thursday, no communication was sent out to me, so I contacted ******************** at 2:33pm to ask for updates. ******************** did not call me back. I called ******************** back at 4:40 and he said he would reach out to **** again. He called me back at 4:43 and said the same thing again, that **** still needed a manager's signature for the check.
Friday, still no communication was sent out to me so I called ******************** at 1:11pm to inquire and he said he will get **** to call me back. **** called me at 1:26pm and stated that he had the check in his hand, but his manager was on vacation and that he wasn't going to be back until Monday. I then asked if they were going to be open on Monday due to it being Christmas Day, and then I ******************* laugh and another person's laugh in the background, then **** said that they weren't going to be open and that it will have to be Tuesday. I called ******************** at 1:55pm to let him know of the matter and that I would wait until Tuesday for resolution.
It seems to me at this point that they are purposefully dragging this out for whatever reason and continuously stringing me along.
This is why I am requesting for this complaint to be reopened, as no resolution have been met.
Please let me know what I need to do for this.

I bought this car Monday night at 9:30pm, had quite a drive a head of me back home and arrived around 2:40 AM. On the very first drive home I noticed the main speaker in the car sounded blown & made screeching noises any time I played music so I notified my salesperson & also mentioned the car had a smell coming from it, i couldn't figure out what it was however. Being under the impression the car has a year left of warranty (which management told me) I was not too concerned. the next day i came to the dealership to drop off the check for the vehicle for over $50k. That very night i got home I smelled the odor stronger then the night before.. after popping the hood and seeing oil all over the engine cover.. I IMMEDIATELY contacted my sales rep. *** next day (10:28 AM) I called **** (the *** he told me he would undo the deal and all was good if the check had not been deposited. He called me back & tells me the check has already been deposited which does not even matter on a cash deal because it can simply be returned no harm no foul. I continued to reach out to dealership personnel & to my surprise nobody is answering my calls anymore & i'm beginning to fear i am stuck with this lemon. I finally get a hold of **** at the end of the day just for him to say he will get it looked at for me??? Who practices business like this??? I notified you the moment i saw what is a MAJOR issue to me & that's your best response now?? I DONT WANT IT LOOKED AT!! it should have been looked at before selling. *** next day today I called 6+ times to get a hold of someone & FINALLY at the end of the day I get in contact with "****" the supposed owner who completely threw the idea of undoing the deal & just offered to have the car looked at. NOBODY WHO SPENDS $50k plus wants to have issues within 24hours of having it. I DO NOT WANT THIS ************ had it parked since I saw the oil leaking. I DONT WANT A FIX! I am rejecting this response because:The dealership can careless about the problem I am having. I offered to buy a different vehicle they currently have IN stock & havent got a single response back. They said they would call me back Friday & never did. **** is extremely rude and does not want to find a solution just stiff me in this car. Finding days off & time to drive 2+ hours for their guys to look at the vehicle is not convenient & definitely not what a solution is. Im simply offering to buy something else or give me back my car and money. They literally used the issues this car is having against my trade in and gave me $5k less then market value. My car didnt have a single problem! Id much rather just have it back. I hate this car.

**************. You yourself are in car business for over 5 years. You took the car two days for joyride and then having a buyer remorse. We dont know what you were doing. Trying to modify the car. You looked at the Carfax car has been well maintained through a *** dealership. Nothing was hidden from you. All the docs were provided and signed by you. There was a speaker issue which we said we will take care of it. Two days later you drop the check off. You were supposed to bring the car last Saturday for us to check out the speaker as we agreed on. All the paperwork and all the documentations were all verified by you before you purchased the car. I dont know what modification you were trying to do thats the reason why I did not want to take the car back. You being in Car business you should know that. I am rejecting this response because:I mentioned modifying the vehicle 100% after it runs out of the factory warranty. If I wanted to joyride a vehicle I would simply drive something off of my lot with over 150 vehicles in inventory. If youre going to make childish assumptions at least make them valid. I selected the car myself because it is what I wanted. There were 60 other *** 340i for sale closer to me then yours but because of the options I chose to drive over 2 hours. This car hasnt been touched since I made you aware of the issues and all youve done is chosen to avoid contact. Unfortunately for you I have halted the tag and title process as well as my bank process on the vehicle loan. I will be escalating the situation further if I do not get my way, youll be dealing with me or the BBB at full force until you make this right. Give me back my car which has none of the issues this car has and give me back my money because your response has made it clear that I will never be doing business again with your shady organization.

I am filing a complaint due to the deceitful and fraudulent car sale tactics Gravity Autos use and that I have personally experienced when I purchased my 2021 *** X3 10/30/2022. My complaint is Specifically regarding the car dealers improper inflation of the vehicle price as well as add-on concealment that was blatant and intended to deceive to ultimately increase their sales and the amount of the purchase. By review of recent BBB complaints, this appears to be a standard practice of Gravity Autos with other buyers experiencing the same unlawful and deceitful practices surrounding their vehicle purchases and several unrequested products, charges, etc.I have clear evidence and proof of their fraudulent crimes , I'm saying crime because that's what it is. I even have 2 purchase/sales agreement that they used to do this. They had me sign contract with vehicle price inflated for more then the selling price and not only that, changed the size of the font and intentionally made it hard to read and had me sign and gave me a copy. It was not until that evening of vehicle purchase that I realized the inflation and did motify the dealer the same date and went into the dealer where I complained. The guys attempted to act clueless and as the guy was shifting through all the sale documents I saw the actual sales document that was signed by the dealer including myself and that was sent to the bank for financing that had a breakdown of add-ons never discussed, nor agreed to. When I asked why that was different from the copy I had when they should be identical but not only that, it should only be 1 they made a bunch of excuses and i demanded a copy of the one sent to lender. I have all the evidence to show that the dealer intended to defraud me and they did they need to be held accountable as this appears to be a standard for the business by review of other complaints, reviews, etc. Gravity Autos Atlanta owes me. #2. As far as the price difference. Look in your paperwork. You should see 4 contracts from ****, that is GAP, 360 shield, GPS, and Theft protection. They were signed by you.

While I do appreciate the prompt response, I am rejecting it. Please stop with the lies and games. The fact that you only addressed a small fraction of my concern and complaint and so casually only confirms the knowledge and intent of the car dealers fraudulent and deceptive practices.
I have the right to buy a car at the price advertised.
Used car dealers must display prices on cars. A used car dealer may not sell a car at a price that is more than the price advertised, quoted, or posted on the car. Gravity Autos Atlanta deceptively and improperly inflated the vehicle price. The price of the vehicle was $35,295 and this additional documentation submitted will support that.
I have the right to refuse add-ons.
Add-On" Concealment - Concealing the inclusion of certain optional "add-ons" during the negotiation process, or the costs of those add-ons, but including those add-ons in the final vehicle price. ("add-ons" include warranties and prepaid service/maintenance programs).
The dealership must give in writing, the itemized price of each add-on product and/or service, including the monthly and total price of financing with and without each product and/or service. The only Add-ons I consented to is the *** and extended warranty as indicated in my retail sales contract which I also have provided a copy of. If I signed and consented to the others, why arent these itemized in the sale contract as required by law?
These practices are all illegal. It is unlawful and is known as fraud and/or misrepresentation.
Since we are discussing the extended warranty. I requested that warranty cancellation and submitted the appropriate cancellation form in May and was advised 4-6 weeks to receive the warranty reimbursement, I followed up numerous times in writing and phone with no response. I reached out directly to the administrator only to find out that their accounting department issued Gravity Auto the check back in June. I had no response until last week when I mentioned filing a BBB complaint for your deceptive and unlawful practices. Its over 3 months since I submitted the cancellation for the extended warranty that I never used and only had a few months- That payment still has not been received by my lender to date.
Rarely do we get the chance to right our wrongs in this life, but this is your opportunity. I would like the $1,998 that Gravity Autos Atlanta STOLE from me. Specifically, **** and *******************, Finance Manager.
If there is not a satisfactory resolution reached on this matter, I will consult legal counsel and will also be proceeding with contacting and filing complaints with The ******* Attorney General's ***************************** as well as the ************* Board for the Registration of ********** Vehicle Dealers in regard to Gravity Autos Atlanta; License #**********.

On 2/24/23 I purchased a *** from this dealership. My complaint is that I was defrauded into buying warranties I didn't want or need. First of all, when I first looked at the vehicle, the buyers guide was nowhere to be found. That is against federal law to not have that displayed properly on the vehicle. Very important info concerning the warranty is included on it. That being said, after I looked at the vehicle, voiced some concerns about it and sat down with the salesman, I explained to the salesman that I had declined buying a vehicle from another dealership because the warranty was to expensive. That's when he brought over a sales manager who told me he could include a good warranty for $3800. That sounded reasonable to me so I decided to move forward with the purchase. While sitting at the salesmans desk, the sales manager had me sign some document saying I would buy the vehicle if under $40,000 out the door. I didn't realize he had added other items to the purchase ,that I never asked for and didn't want, to get the purchase price as close to $40,000 as possible. Once I got into the finance office they had me sign paperwork, which included a key replacement warranty ($400), a 360 Shield warranty for the exterior and interior ($350), and a gps tracking device ($450). Mind you, the vehicle was already equipped with GPS tracking. Why would I pay for another gps tracking device and service? Also, I was not presented with all of my contact documents. I was only presented with the pages that I had to sign so it looked like a lot less paperwork than it actually was. The extended service contract was suppose to have 10 pages, but I only saw one. The 360 Shield and Key Replacement warranties had 7 pages each, but I never saw the additional pages. I realize the dealer will just say you signed these contracts, but it was deceitful the way they got me to sign them. They withheld vital information from me and then even added items that they never asked me if I wanted.Business response

I purchased a 2019 ******** with 24k from Gravity Autos Group (Atlanta location) on 6/25/2022. After driving it home the check engine light comes on the next morning and the car starts to stall! They banked on the car being under factory warranty but no one should buy a fairly new vehicle and 1 day later have to put it in the shop for 7 days to get it back to running condition! Not only that It cost me $1200 for tires and needed maintenance, the front 2 tires had ZERO TREAD on it, so it had to be replaced. they automatically charge you $2,000 for added accessories they put on the car BEFORE you buy it. So in other words, they put accessories they want on the car and charge you for it! You can try to refuse it but you will be told that it is already on the car and if you want the car it is not included in the price but added to the over all price. Thats basically telling you one price to get you in there but changing the price once you sit down for financing! Its worse that the tracking device doesnt work at all. There is zero proof that the car has a ceramic coat on it. So they just want you to take there word for it. They still have yet to fix it nor call me back about why it is still saying to this day my car is in Atlanta!!! We are now on DAY 11! I was told that the car has navigation but once I try to use it, it says *** card needed. I asked the sales manager about the *** card. He Tells us that it is only Navigation Ready. It should have been disclosed at the time of purchase that the navigation will not work because it is missing the *** card for it to function I asked the ******** **** dealership about getting a new *** card and they say it will cost $600. The customer service during the purchase was great! But after the purchase I was hit with a snarky attitude by the sales manager! I have yet to receive a call back from him for the tracking device not working! He was quick to offer to replace a $5 battery for the key fob that didnt work.Business response

Ive attempted to contact the customers to resolve the issue the customers voicemail was full and I couldnt leave a voicemail, Ive emailed the customer to get back to me so we can figure out whats going on as i am still waiting for the return phone call. The customer purchased a car that was fully under manufacture warranty. The customer knew about all the numbers prior to them arriving from along ways as they requested for us to keep the dealership open after hours. This GLA was recently serviced by ******** dealership 2k miles prior based on carfax report and we are willing to work with the customers if they would get in contact with me so we can get to a solution immediately. I am rejecting this response because.I did not request you guys to stay open. You guys pressured my wife into buying this car with the threat that several other people was going to buy the car that day. If my wife didnt come that DAY to buy the car. Even when we offered to put down the $3,000 and come in the next day to sign the paperwork. You guys refused! Said it had to be done that day. In turn I had to tell my family who was coming into town. That sorry we can not visit with you guys because we have to go to Atlanta to pick up this vehicle thats only gonna be there for that day!!! So we drove 4 hrs and got there around 8:30 pm. Where you guys actually still had clients!! I took this vehicle to a REAL ******** ********** and there was no evidence that this vehicle was serviced by a ******** dealership recently. The oil in the vehicle did not demonstrate that it had recently been changed. Can you please provide paperwork that these emissions test and services was done??? Anybody can go on carfax and add a service record!!! Where is the paper trail? Because my ******** dealership cant see it!! They also explained to me that it is more likely than not that there is no way this vehicle did not have a check engine light when you guys sold it to me!!! You guys posted in carfax it passed emissions test on 19 June please show me the paperwork!! Finally yes you showed me the prices for the accessories! Which at the time even though I didnt want it your rep did convince me of its value! So I accepted because one this was the vehicle we wanted, and 2 we thought its worth it. However upon receiving the accessories. The GPS still does not work and once again the ******** dealership says they cant tell for sure but they seriously doubt the car has ceramic coating on it. all I am asking for is a refund on the accessories. This is a very unique vehicle that my wife loves. Me I dont care for it so much. Luckily it still has the manufacture warranty, clearly you guys was banking on that as well. I didnt even mention the tires with 0 tread that the ******** dealership annotated, and had to replace. A normal person would ask for a refund for that but I am not because I am fully aware that the consumer has a responsibility as well. All I am asking for a refund for the accessories that does not work and we cannot clearly see is present.

Spoke to ***********, came into an agreement with the customer by giving them $400 as a good will appreciation to help them cover the cost of the tires that needed to be replaced as a good will. Spoke to customer this morning to see if they received the check and they haven't received yet as of today but should have it any day now. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.**** took care of all my concerns once he was aware of my concerns! My wife loves the car, after some initial issues and miscommunications on both parts. We are extremely satisfied with the car and Mikes detailed dedication to making things right. Now knowing how **** takes care of his customers! I will be a repeat customer when we are looking for our next luxury vehicle!

In November i bought a car from this dealership under the impression that everything was fine with it and up to par. Ive had the car about a month now and the brakes went bad. the cost for these brakes are $5000. The brakes i require last ****** miles in normal driving conditions. ive only driven the car **** miles. The mechanic said i have literally been in danger since the money i purchased the car. Which i feel like is morally wrong and criminal. They purposely put me in a race car with bad brakes. The same bad brakes almost cause me to crash and have terrible injuries. Someone pointed me towards you guys in hope you can help. Im reporting this so hopefully you can help me and the people after me. I feel like they purposely put my life in danger. On Feb 13th, 2021, I purchased a 2017 Maserati Ghibli from Gravity Auto in ********, **. My sales associate was ***** and he was very helpful throughout the purchase. While in financing, I was offered to purchase a warranty on the car. When I declined, I was told that purchasing a luxury car without a warranty was a bad idea. I asked why if the car had been serviced which ***** already assured me it was. Finance continued with pros and cons so I decided to purchase the warranty. On 10/13, the service required message appeared on dashboard. I contacted ***** and asked if the car was serviced. ***** again replied, the car was serviced. I went back and forth with ***** and then decided to take the car to a Maserati Dealership. The tech informed me that there is absolutely no way this car had been serviced in the past 15K miles. He showed me a sample of the oil and the degraded spark plugs, The total cost of the required services was at $2571 of which $1900 of the repairs were required immediately. I am requesting this $1900 because I purchased this car under false pretenses. Had I been informed that the car had not been serviced, I could have decided whether or not I wanted to take the risk of purchasing a car that was not serviced.Business response

We got this car from maserati financial and did the oil change as the car has required at the time. Maserati brand is of a diff caliber which requires service ever year regardless you drive or not and or 10k miles. You have driven the car over service requirement and over nominal average drive in 7 months of ***** miles. Service will be required and you have went over clock by **** miles. Are you using you car for uber or toro? that is not nominal miles.
