We paid $50.00 a night to stay in a gravel parking lot squeezed in between campers. We had no privacy. We were told we could have dogs with us yet they had to be super quiet and not make a sound. We also could not have anything outside of our camper. We have a 24 foot camper, so we have to put some chairs and camping equipment outside. We couldn't have anything outside of our camper yet on the walking trail there was a junkyard that they threw all of the old campground equipment. The owner was very rude. He yelled at me about our camping equipment outside and said our dogs barked. Our dogs were quiet especially at night. He told us to leave. We left and we will never go back. The owner is very rude and unprofessional and his RV Park is junky and a health hazard especially by the office on the walking trail. It is very unsafe for children or pets to walk there. The owner rides around the park on his golf cart and reprimands his paying guests like they are children. My husband and I were very uncomfortable staying there and we felt like we were under constant scrutiny. It was a very stressful environment.

Were sorry we couldnt extend your stay here as you had requested. Unfortunately, we do not allow dogs to be kept outside in cages barking all night. We also have a policy for tenants to keep their lots neat and tidy. We had tried giving you warnings to clean up your space. You are correct, we do have a work area in the corner of our park where we repair broken or damaged items. Unfortunately, there is a lot of maintenance required for a park this size. However, this work area is in a corner, away from the walking trail. Thus, there is no safety hazard. All of our park rules are clearly listed on our website as well as the map that you are given upon check in. You were reminded of these rules and were given chances to adhere to them. Failure to do so resulted in us denying your request to stay further. There was no mention of you feeling uncomfortable during your stay and you wouldnt have requested to extend your stay if that was the case. We hope you are able to find another park that better suits your needs.

We kept our dogs on a leash, in their cage or inside to minimize barking. We brought all the dogs inside at night during quiet hours, so our dog was not in a cage barking all night. Our dogs did not bark any more than the other dogs around us. I am an educator, so I pride myself on having a neat and organized area. We had a minimum amount of camping equipment outside. Our space was neat and tidy, yet other campers around us had clutter around their campers. I guess permanent residents are allowed to have clutter. Also. The junkyard that is by the walking trail is indeed a safety hazard . Old sheds. tarps, tires. ***** metal debris and other objects are thrown into piles by the walking trail. We would have left sooner, but the state parks were full at the time. My main concern is the manner in which the owner spoke to me. He yelled at me at my RV in front of my neighbors. It was very embarrassing and unprofessional. It is my hope that the owner moves forward with cleaning up the junky area by the walking trail for the safety of the guests and show compassion and professionalism to his paying guests.
