On April 9th, 2021, I entered a contract with Quality Outdoor Products with their representative Ms. Hanna M*** (Last name spelling from contract and may be misspelled). This transaction took place in the office of ********************************************************************************************. I left a deposit for $95.00 on Invoice #***** (attached) for Delivery and installation of an 18 ft. by 20 ft. carport. After many months of noncompliance with the terms of our contract I contacted the Office of the Attorney General of Tennessee, Consumer Affairs Division (two attachments). A detailed description of the issue is contained within these attachments. Today, I received an email from this department stating they were closing the complaint due to lack of response from Quality Outdoor Products (attached). Nice trick, if they simply took $95 deposits from 1000 people, they just pocket $95,000 with no intention of fulfilling their obligations. I would like for them to finish the job for the amount specified by the attached invoice.Business response

Consumer Response /* (3000, 10, 2022/02/08) */ I called Quality Outdoor Products on Jan 14th, 2022 and reported that I would like to schedule my installation early in February due to ongoing medical issues at the time. I called today and was informed that my order has been Cancelled! No letter no notice of any kind and NO REFUND. They have a contract from 4/9/21 and have refused delivery many times in the past which is why I contacted you. I'm sure the cost of the product has increased but I am not at fault. I was home every one of the appointment days they scheduled. They never showed up as scheduled and never notified me they were not coming. Now, after talking with Mandy on January 14th at 4:10pm (phone ************) and arranged to call for installation in February. I was informed, this morning that my contract was cancelled on JANUARY 8th 2022! 6 days before I talked with Mandy. Again, I am upset that a company can operate by taking deposits and then never intend to deliver on the contract.
