      I took my 2007 infiniti to ****** owner of MBM car repair on ********** Decatur ** October 12th. ****** shop worked on this same car three or four times before. I brought the car back this time because the car stopped on my grandson October 4th. When I returned home from ******* ** I called the shop and spoke to ******. He said bring it in. I had my car towed to his shop the next day October 12th. Never heard from ****** again. I called him on November 1st he stated oh I was just getting ready to call you. He said your car is ready for pickup. I had my grandson to drop me off but to wait and follow me back to my home. I asked ****** how much do I owe you?He said nothing. I started to feel very uncomfortable but then I thought maybe it's no charge because I'm bringing it back for the same problem and he corrected it and there is no charge. The car stopped on me in the middle of the express way coming through downtown ******* **. Very dangerous I could have been hit by another car. I was able to get to the side of the expressway. Because my grandson was following me he pulled over and called ******. ****** lied and said he checked everything. He never said what was wrong with my car, never said what he fixed. I trusted this man with my car. I'm so sorry I didn't check his reviews. I trusted him before because a friend referred him to me. I feel he took advantage of me as a woman. He saw an opportunity and lied about the fact he fixed my car. This man claim to be an ex marine. I don't believe him. He looked me in my face without smiling knowing he was putting me in a dangerous car. I'm truly surprised. He came off as trust worthy. I have my car at another repair place. I would like MBM to reimburse me when they finish my car. I can send him receipts for my repairs.

      To whom it may concern,

       

      The vehicle was towed to our facility because it stopped while driving. ************** inspected the vehicle thoroughly, ran computer tests and found only low voltages codes. We couldnt find anything wrong with the vehicle that would cause the engine to stop running. We sent our driver to drive the vehicle on multiple occasions and the car never stopped.  

      Unfortunately, we couldn't find anything wrong with this vehicle at that moment. We didnt consider fair to charge a diagnosis fee. This vehicle has been at our location for repairs four times since Jan 4th, 2021. We treat all our customers with respect and fairly.

      Our shop was recommended to them by another customer, so they should know the way our company does business. If we make a mistake, we always try our best to resolve it but, in this case instead of bringing the car back in for further diagnosis to find the issue, the customer chooses to take it to another place. After working on this vehicle four times before and the customer not bringing the car back to us for the same issue or any warranty work, demonstrates that we take our job very seriously and we try to do our best every single time.

      MBM was not even contacted about this issue. MBM will not refund any repair done at another repair shop.

      Lastly, MBM always spoke, arranged appointments and discussed repairs with *****************************, the owner of the 2007 Infinity. When ***************************** was contacted after receiving this complaint from BBB, he wasnt aware of the situation and said that he wasnt disappointed with our service, and he would keep bringing the car in for future repairs.
