ZK Smith was hired by my ********************* to fix my AC Coil in my attic . After replacing my coil the unit flooded my attic due to his negligence. After returning to fix the flooding issue , he left a PVC pipe unsealed flooding my attic a second time. I have time stamped photos and an audio recording of him admitting the this. ZK Smith will not take responsibility or give me his insurance information for the damages . I had an estimate done to fix the damages of approximately $1460.00. The Home warranty company is taking no responsibility because they hire contract companys with liability insurance .Business response

Good Morning, I did not get the first response , I did however got the second , hence now I am responding.The customer Air Handler in the attic was replaced because it was leaking and corroded, it was removed and replaced .Customer *** drain line was clogged with sediments not captured by filter and corrosion of rust from the old unit.When the new unit was installed ,the water had nowhere to go because of the blocked of drain line so it backed up inside unit and leaked through the ceiling, the drain line maintenance is the customer responsible and not the contractor or the warranty company.I will provide pictures of the clogged line that had to be repaired becuz of the blockage, this was not part of the covered service for the customer , this was done free of charge , including installing a T trap to allow regular maintenance of drain line ,that was not there before.The customer also failed to mention I had to vacuum the *** drain line because of the blockage,the *** line was repiped, after leaving customer home , customer informed me that the line was disconnected, I advised the customer to turn system off and I returned the next day to apply glue, this was on my third visit, the damage was already caused before repiping the line which the customer failed to inform you, on that day , and he call me within an hour of leaving.The initial damage as was explained to him by his warranty company was from a blocked drain line after making several attempts to claim on my liability insurance. customer did not paid for repiping of line as this not part of original service
